Nice work here. Since you've looked at changing the damage values for warrior would you happen to have a clue how to change the damage for ranger? I was hoping to fix up ranger so comet shot is on par with eagle sight. The base damage value is fine but the strength and weapon multipliers are terrible.
Sort of. I've swapped the hex values in colision files which control the X/Y flight distance and gravity parameters. Somewhere along the lines there's also an enemy animation pointer, but I'm a bit lazy to chase patterns in hex files really.
You might be the only person who has an idea of how to fix Warrior's Calamitous Lash. I've asked on the Discord and no one seems interested. I was told that Warrior isn't popular enough to generate enough demand for such a difficult mod, or something like that. Perhaps if tier 3 Lash had its collision files switched with its tier 2 counterpart, it may deal damage to Living Armour and large monsters. Currently, Calamitous Lash can still stunlock Living Armour and pancake him, but the damage is so tiny. From what you've achieved with your mod, a fix may be possible.
Hey man, thanks. I remember looking for ways to alter damage multipliers for perfect-timed skills such as Hindsight, Lash etc. but unfortunately to no avail. As far as I remember, dmg files I've been meddling with only controls the base power of the skill and doesn't take the perfect timing boost into account. Most probably, timed counters and skills' damage files are stored in a different hex file, about which I'm not really knowledgeable. I'll make sure to update the mod if I ever stumble upon a solution. Cheers.
It will apply to the your character, main and rented pawns (only in your game, mod won't affect their skills when rented by someone so it's %100 safe) and I'd say enemies too, but Warrior bandits and pawns don't use the skills I've modded, thus you won't see them throwing you 30 meters away.
your mod + Holy Knight makes the Warrior Class better, the pommel bash is good but the corona slash 3rd tier(from holy knight mod) + your whirlwind slash is the best combo, now if only someone can make Arc of Obliteration charge to 1 or 3 sec warriors can compete with MA or MK
Warrior Corrupted Pawns and Bandits don't have access to Pommel Bash and can only use the first tier of Whirlwind Slash so no, it wouldn't. Honestly I'm not even sure whether the skill parameters could affect enemy attacks in any way. They have their unique animations such as the delayed swing of Fighter Bandits, so logically it would be safe to assume that enemy attacks are governed by a different file.
