Install instructions to help you play Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen for the PC version using a mod with the official japanese audio files. This mod will replace the default game's cutscenes, NPC, main character dialogues and voices for the japanese version.

IMPORTANT!

MOD DOWNLOAD

INSTRUCTIONS
(1) - Download the "Japanese VoiceOver Project" at Nexus Mods

(2) - Inside the downloaded mod .rar file, there's a folder called "nativePC"

Go to your game installation folder, usually under

\GOG Galaxy Games\DDDA

or

\Steam\steamapp\common\DDDA

(3) - Extract the mod's .rar file into your game main folder and replace/overwrite when asked to

(4) - Now, in your game folder, go to \nativePC\rom

Inside the \rom folder, right-click the file "DDA_jppatch.exe" and select "Properties"

(5) - In the compatibility tab, make sure to check the box "Run this program as an administrator".

(6) - Open "Command Prompt (Admin)" in your game folder \nativePC\rom and run the patch

- In Windows File Explorer, go to your game folder \nativePC\rom

- Click the address bar and copy the path to your \rom folder

- Right-click your Windows "Start Menu" and select "Command Prompt (Admin)"

- In "Command Prompt" you might need to switch to the drive where you installed Dragon's Dogma. For example, here I installed it under drive D:, so first I typed "D:" (without quotations) then Enter to switch to the correct drive. If your game was installed in C:, then first type "cd\" (without quotations) then Enter

- Type "cd" (without quotations) then past the path you copied and press "Enter". Command Prompt will now be targeted at your \rom folder

- Type "PatchAll" (without quotations) and press "Enter". The mod will start its installation. It might take a minute or two, just wait for it to complete then press any key to finish it

ATTENTION: before patching, make sure your firewall/anti-virus isn't blocking the actions of the mod's .exe or .bat files.

(7) - Done! Launch the game and have fun ;)
