About this mod

Adds japanese voices with lipsync to the game.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This mod is for those who prefer japanese voices instead of the english voices.

And this mod will override the english voices to japanese, so if you by any chance want to go back to english voices you first need to make a backup of your Dragon's Dogma game installation folder since the patcher will remap all voice files.

Disclaimer notice - Always do a backup of your entire game installation folder, in case a problem should occur!

Installation instructions

1. Extract folder to \SteamApps\common\DDDA   Click YES to overwrite all files prompted by the window that comes up

2. Then go inside \SteamApps\common\DDDA\nativePC\rom and double-click the patchall.bat and let it run until it says: "Press any key to continue" then press Space to close the patcher

3. Start the game, enjoy the japanese voices and feel free to leave any feedback and/or comments in the thread.

The patcher might require .net framework 4.5 to run, so if you cannot start the patcher, simply install net framework 4.5
This has not been tested with any mods except Title menu music, plain vanilla Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen

Any mod compatibility with any file that gets modified by the patch is not guaranteed, so use other mods at your own risk.
So don't come to us complaining if it doesn't work with other mods!

Repacked files to folders just to make it as easy as possible by CrazyLamer aka. LillDavid

Scripts/patcher patchall.bat and DDDA_jppatch.exe made by Vuze
npcfca folder corrected by Meem0

Update: Forgot to add, that since this only modifies voices, you can safely play online without any problems.
All of us testing the mod did and no issues so far since it doesn't modify pawn data or whatever.

Final update: Seems the female voice 4 still has a couple lines in english throughout the game in a couple locations aswell as only a couple npc's also still talking in english, sadly it's not much to do about it since some voices might be in a different location than the previous located by our scripter. With that said, it might never be fixed since it took quite some time just do make this and all of us are working with different things now individually so i hope you all can forgive us for this and still be able to enjoy our mod/conversion.

And if you like this mod, please click endorse button at the top right corner, that way we know how many is appreciating our hard work for making this work for PC.
Thank you

Update: Monument of Remembrance voice file is now fixed, simply download the small fix, unpack it inside your DDDA folder and it will replace some files, Click YES to overwrite all 7 of them.

Update2: The new uploaded file now works just fine, it's just a repack with the fix. I di download it and try to make sure this time right after upload was finishes.

Okay, so i hope this translation is correct for all Japanese players out there, and hopefully this will help with the instructions.

Thanks goes to

Fraggoso for Converting, sorting out all 40 000+ files to correct folder structure, repacking, troubleshooting and testing

CrazyLamer for providing programs, testing, troubleshooting, all voices and sounds testing and brainstorming with Fraggoso & Vuze and making the rar package with all necessary files with installation instructions for an easy installation

Vuze who made and provided scripts and the patcher for unpack/repacking files with correct names, order and remapping all sounds and voices which greatly reduced work and greatly improved speed at doing this possible, and testing

Meem0 for fixing the npcfca folder

Special Thanks to the community goes to:

Gvertin for offering help to convert jap cutscenes.

And thanks to Capcom for providing this awesome game, and all files are copyrights of Capcom.

No files have been altered, only unpacked and remapped and repacked in correct order.

We have not by any means modified any files from the game, simply just added the japanese and with help of the script
and inserted them into the game once again.

We do not take any credits for making any files except for Vuze who made the script and patcher, other than that it's simply just a package
of already existing files with the instructions and means to make these work.
As the patcher is custom made, this package may not be re-uploaded to any other site than we have provided without contacting Vuze or the rest of the crew.

And as part of zLib library.
