About this mod

This is the result of over 200 hours of gameplay and experimentation. It is intended to breathe a bit of new life into the game, offer the chance for new discovery and alternate gear choices.

Permissions and credits
There are more than 100 modified items in this mod, most of them are weapons, the others are accessories. I avoided the rabbit hole that is armor modding, at least for now. The intent here was to learn how to mod the items while offering new choices for endgame gear. Not to mention making things interesting overall.

My choices were based on aesthetics and whether or not the item has a gimmick that I like. Nothing more complicated than that. The majority of it is equal to top tier, endgame gear... with perks.

The way items are structured, there are limits on how powerful any given stat can be, so you aren't going to find "GOD" items that destroy any target with a single hit, or can tank any amount of damage.

I'm not going to list everything here, but I will give the following information.

There are: 13 Swords
                    5 Longswords
                    7 Warhammers
                    5 Maces
                    4 Magick Shields
   11 Daggers
   12 Staves
    5 Longbows
                    8 Shortbows
                    5 Magick Bows
                    6 Shields
  13 Accessories
  12 Rusted Items

This is just the items that didn't escape my sketchy notes. It's entirely possible that there are more. Best advice, check everything carefully before you vendor or pass it by. About the rusted items, they aren't nearly up to the rest of the gear, but they are a few steps beyond their normal status.

Bugs: In the 200+ hours I've played, I haven't noticed any. If I screwed up, the game wouldn't load at all, otherwise, it's been fine. I run other mods as well, and it plays nice with them. But if you experience excessive crashing, check your other mods, they may not be compatible.

I'll be adding to this file as I go, so this is just the beginning. I'll also be posting an article to outline the process of item modding, what I've found, and what needs more work (once I beat my notes into a human readable form).

There are 2 download options: Replace the entire archive, or merge the single file.

Venture forth and discover...

Again, thanks to DongaKong for pointing me in the right direction, and FluffyQuack for the tools.
