I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to address the status of the Dragons Oath project. Due to recent events in my personal life, including the completion of my studies, along with my involvement in other hobbies such as music, drawing, and modding other games, I regret to inform you that I am unable to continue working on the Dragons Oath modification. Modding Dragons Dogma has proven to be incredibly time-consuming, especially considering its console nature and the numeric-based descriptions of many features, making it challenging for human comprehension.
Furthermore, with the eagerly anticipated release of Dragons Dogma 2 already announced, I find it difficult to justify further investment in the current modification project. Therefore, I have decided to officially conclude the support for the mod. It will remain in its current state, as it is. I appreciate the support and enthusiasm you have shown for this project, and I apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause. Thank you for your understanding.
Additionally, I want to note that all information I have discovered during the development process of Dragons Oath is publicly available on GitHub. If anyone is interested in continuing the project, I am open to passing it on to them. Github: https://github.com/iomatix/Dragon-s-Dogma-Decrypted
I only use the mbw.arc (magic bows) for the much-improved magick archer gameplay. Gransis is now more fun as a pure archer MA since explosive rivets go off on their own after a delay. Highly recommend for MAs who need fire dmg for Gransis and prefer pure archer gameplay.
Unfortunately, Ricochet is even more OP with 32 "reflections."
Hey, I've been following this mod for a while, and I gotta say I really enjoy everything you're doing here!! I know things have been crazy lately, but keep up the good work!
i hope the years have been kind to you, i know you'll prob never get around to doing more work on this but thanks for what was done & maybe when dd2 comes out you be in a place to mod that :P just wanted to say thanks for what you did/do <3
Enjoying the mass majority of this mod. Sadly my favorite spell Gicel is the one complaint I have. It's too thicc, I can't actually see it do anything since the base is so thick I can't see around it.
0.6b is coming soon. Massive update of magick bow and little tweaks and bug fixes. ----------------------- Daggers Bug fixed - Shadowpin won't regenerate stamina.
Magic Archer Gravity adjusted for all magic bow's skills. Basic arrow's params are nerfed to almost vanilla because of particles glitch. Flare is adjusted, upgrades allow to use it with longer distances, the improved duration which stays almost 2 times longer. Explosive bolts are adjusted becoming more varied. -------------------- Tweaks & better adjustment for Long Bows & Short Bows will appear also with the upcoming 0.6b update.
I'm going to update each kind of weapon in progressive steps.
I wrote a message but it is missing now for some reason. A request would be changing act of vengeance, the skill does not enough damage at all, in turn you take too much damage and most of the time you get knocked off your feet anyway while using this ability. It would be awesome if you could up the damage a lot, make the skill easier to fully charge, half the damage received while using the ability and make the player 100% knockback resistant while charging the ability. Thanks for making recommendations possible, hope you stay well in the current situation =)
