Disclaimer: I have stopped playing and modding Dragon's Dogma ages ago, but since some folk seem to enjoy these mods and request some clearer instructions, I just did it for convenience. I don't think I'll ever be back to playing or modding it, so in case someone wants to continue the project and want to use my spell tweaks, you can do so, I only ask to be credited is all.
It doesn't like it when you are on a different enough incline from an enemy. Also Bolide always had a weirdly short lock-on range.
When standing on the ground a full high bolide hit a golem for me. When on the stairs to Selene's house none of them hit. I used it multiple times and also saw it happen with the cyclops in the Shadow Fort so I am sure it is elevation messing with the "lock on."
Works pretty well. Bolide and Seism actually feel consistent enough to use.
For anyone wanting to use it know that Bolide's aiming does not work when on a different enough y-axis from your enemy so if you want to nuke bosses with it have a pawn keep them busy.
Prolonged Enchantments and Spell Mod Pack have the enchantment duration increase so I am posting this in both mods. Signette explained that any duration over 5 min bugged the enchantment. Using the “Perpetuation” augment with this mod’s changes will do that. You will get the fake permanent buff duration as explained in the Prolonged Enchantments sticky post by Signette. You can just remove the “Perpetuation” augment by setting it to “—” or replacing it. Then stay at an inn to remove the stuck fake buff.
This could have been a one-click installation had this mod just been packaged correctly to be installed with Vortex. Those mod installation instructions remind me of the days of 2000's era modding before mod managers.
so when i download this file, i dont get a option to extract, just get a file, do I replace both the wan and stk arc with that one file that was downloaded? and rename them as wan.arc and stk.arc and ofc save original for backup?
Dude please make this mod Vortex Mod Manger - friendly, because its easy to install and uninstall plus you can disable if you dont want to use. So you don't need to make a backup because you can enable or disable it with the vortex mod manager.
But, no problem if you don't want too because I already made mine VMM-friendly. Thanks for this wonderful spell mod
Error F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DDDA\nativePC\collision\pl\m0007_01.ocl 3 The error occurs when you enter the game menu and start loading your save!
Such a folder and file does not actually exist in the original Steam license. Why is the game trying to open a non-existent file?
This error happens when I install your mod! When I delete it and restore the 2 original files, the game works!

Sooo we can't be like Obi-wan and take the high ground for combat advantage??? XD
