DDDA is another one of those great games that has no mod support from the developers. You probably wont see many NMM versions of mods so it's mostly manual install.
I working on an ''invisible helmet'' mod can I use your file for it? I don't really see the point of doing it myself since you did such a good job

I'm a bit confused, by "invisible helmet" do you mean the entire helmet? or just parts that cover the face? if you mean the masks that cover the face I could probably help, but I still know nothing about shadow maps so I won't be much help if that becomes a problem.
This is not exactly a invisible helmet but i want to make a mod that change the full face helmet by something more else like light helmet.
I will do what I can, but if i could have some help, we could do better than just texture switch.
Custom model for the heavy helmets and some med helmets could be nice.... But this game have more or less 96 helmets for both gender that need to be edited, so more or less 192 helmets to edit.
If I do it alone this will be a straight and cheap model switching but if I a could have like 3-4 persones we could really made something good.

It is posible to do it the same but for the horn helm, the black one, i think that is called "Chimeric Armet", i got the spanish version and is the "casco de quimera". I like hoy looks when its open, but closed looks like a putrid egg.
I'm not sure that's something I could fix with just texture editing, I could probably remove the mask entirely, but then it wouldn't be there even when the mask is open. that requires model editing, which I have no knowledge about. sorry
