Running into an error whenever I try to switch to blackwing bow with this mod on:
Failed to open file. ...\DDDA\NativePC\model\wp\mbw\mbw030\mbw.mrl 3
Dropped the zip contents into the main directory and wrote over the original mbw030 and mbw004 but the game insists on crashing when i try to use them. Uninstalling the mod returns my game back to normal and I can use the bows
I don't have the hooks mod referenced but this magick bow mod has the same effect for me as well. Seriously people, backup the files before installing. I assume the author has abandoned this mod since there's been no updates in months. It's a shame because this would've been awesome if it worked reliably.
Same thing happened to me. I was a fool and didn't backup the .arc files this mod replaces, so now my game is unplayable until I get replacement files.
EDIT: I found a fix, however it involves completely uninsalling all mods on your game. In steam, go to Library > Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.... Afterwards, an update will begin for Dragon's Dogma. This replaced all of my modded files with the original ones. I may have to apply all of my mods again, but at least it's playable. Hope this helps.
can it be possible just to add transparent/alpha texture with a glowing colors for the bows?.. to look like it's a magical bow rather than making it invisible?
This looks promising, would you be able to do something similar for some of the unique Arisen only Magic Shields (I say that because some NPCs and enemies use them too)? I never liked using shields for asthetic reasons and roleplay reasons.
Hey buddy, Is there a way you can make the Oblivion helm and the Carrion Veil invisible? It may not work with the oblivion helm cause of the hair vanishing thing, but should work with the veil I think?
I would love a mod that makes all helms (or at least the ones that won't make body parts vanish) invisible. What do you think? I bet allot of people would love something like that.
great mod, but for further mods like these, how about adding the first accessible weapon to the list? - since all the modded bows here are lategame only and not easily accessible. it's propably a lot of work to modify all of them (long-term-goals, huh) so just adding the first somewhat accessible one would be great already.
oh i was thinking just like any shortbows. And yeah i saw the quivers begone mod, which i will use along if there is a mod that does make my shortbow invisible as for a specific shortbow i do not have any in mind :p

Also in case you're interested there's already a mod on the nexus to get rid of quivers, it's called "Quivers begone" I believe.
