It helps me!!! My buttons have inverted names, for example, square (button 1) is marked as triangle (button 2) and X and square are also inverted... besides R1, it's R2 and L1 is L2, how do I fix it?
Yep, can confirm that as of now at least this (alt) mod doesn't actually work.
EDIT: IT WORKS. To make it work on Steam you have to Right Click the game on your Steam library, go to Properties > Controller > Controller General Settings > PlayStation Configuration Support (turn this on).
With this I was able to get the game to display PSX button prompts with my PS4 controller.
If you want to use this with Vortex the file structure needs to be changed. Easy enough: 1. Download manually, extract the archive, and open the file. 2. Change the file named "normal" or "alternate" to "NativePC." 3. Inside the NativePC folder you just renamed create another folder called "rom." 4. Put the drag the "game_main.arc" file into the rom folder. 5. Rezip the archive and drag it into Vortex. Should now install no problem. I am unsure of how well it merges with other mods that also modify that file, I don't know enough about the process.
It doesn't work. On screen it says press Circle for jump, when X is jump. It says press Triangle for light attack, but Triangle is strong attack...WTF.
