sorry but I dont understand how I can edit them.

If I want to put for example Autonomy to 50%, I open the game_main file with the notepad but then is a mess and there is no way to find it? do I need any particular program for that? you said that you put the counter to find the parameter but I probably wrong something because I cant find it anywere.

The answer's sorta complicated. (it's too much work for most people tbh)

    0) Backup at your discretion (all the damn time)
    1) Download the Arctool and the batch files here: http://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/5774/arctool
    2) Extract everything into the same folder
    3) Follow this bit from reddit:
3b) (In the batch files folder) Make a copy of pc-dd.bat and rename it to "XFS.bat"
    3c) You'll now have 3 files in the folder: "ARCtool.exe", "pc-dd.bat" and "XFS.bat"
    3d) Right-click "XFS.bat", edit, and replace what is there with "arctool -xfs -dd -texRE6 -alwayscomp -pc -txt -v 7 %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9" without quotation marks"
    4) Copy Game_Main.arc into this folder
    5) Drag Game_Main.arc onto XFS.bat to unpack it (this turns nasty .arc files into pretty, editable .xml files)
    6) Open the new Game_Main folder and dig to Game_Main\param\pl\other\PlAbilityParam.ablparam.xml
    7) Open PlAbilityParam.ablparam.xml in Notepad++ (not good-for-nothing vanilla notepad)
8 ) Edit numbers to your liking (under my last post, use ctrl+g to jump to the listed line numbers with the specified augments)
    9) When finished editing, repack the Game_Main folder by dragging it to XFS.bat
    10) Plop the new Game_Main.arc back into your Dragon Dogma directory where it belongs
    11) Open game and either: be happy that it worked, or be frustrated that it all went horribly wrong

    Good luck!

Big thanks to this comprehensive tutorial. Sadly, something like this is still missing from anywhere where you can download the arctool, including the forum where the developer himself watches. All that was needed was something like this, and I could get it all to work adapting this method to my needs. Thank you, MESeele!

Thanks dude! You just made my day so easier.
I would have started searching reddit like a madman then eventually give up without finding anything useful regarding .xml file editing.
      Anyway thanks again

Because the mod author neglected to provide installation instructions, here is how you go about it:

Extract the file to your desktop after you've downloaded it, and place the extracted content into:

    Steam > Steamapps > Common> DDDA > NativePC > Rom

Shouldn't the new value on Inflection be 0.25? At least that's what I think you were going for.

    I just have one question
the numbers you have added in front of the augments in the description, are they the counter number you have commented in the PIAbilityParam.ablparam.xml file?? (you know the counter number in "<!-- -->" comment box in the PIAbilityParam.ablparam.xml)

I had a bit better results opening the XML file directly. However it's just code bs that I can't make sense of. It certainly not clear what and where to in put the values. See the screen shot
