PLEASE. and why don't you have a way to install it through the manager?!?! dragons dogma is basically an incomplete game if you think about all the fatal flaws that this has and I don't want to play it unless I can mod it to fix those terrible issues. like carrying capacity for example. so I want to be able to easily install mods that make the game complete.
How can people not know how to install? It seriously puzzles me.
Open your game folder (through Steam client if you don't know where it is, right-click game -> properties -> local files -> browse local files), you'll see a folder named exactly the same as the downloaded mod. Simply copy past the mod folder there, replace the original. It should only replace one file named game_main.arc.
My only problems are the very little carry weight and the fact that random asshole bandits that are the sons of "the flash" from justice league appear out of nowhere just to move faster then light around me and knock me down non stop. Appart from those two i love the game even tho i just started playing it for like 2-3 hours.
This is the first mod I installed for this game and all I did was download it, unpacked it and saw the folders already organized into a similar file path that the game folder has. Took me like 5 seconds to figure out and install.
I have both Winrar and 7zip installed on my pc, yet I find no way in opening the downloaded files. The extension of them seems to be .file but how the hell do I open them ?
I am not a noob in installing mods , but this, I haven't encountered so far lol
EDIT: I have simply added the extension .zip when renaming the whole file. This fixed the problem. Thank you
ShadoWarrior, Please don't listen to the ungrateful comments. Modders like yourself largely create mods for free and to have people attacking you and complaining about your work need a reality check. Thank you for the work you did.
Thank you for this mod! Other sorts like "over 9000 weight with no stamina!11" totally break the immersion and difficulty. Simple x2 is nearly perfect for me.
Is there a tool to edit the *.PLW files for weight(game_main\param\pl\weight)? How should one go about editing the files in this section (main_game/para)?

I don't understand how you can't just ... download the file, and drag>drop it in...
If you needed to do this to keep breathing, I guess nobody would go to your funeral either because we don't have automatic driving cars yet?
2. Dowload PC batch files & extract one file "pc-dd.bat".
3. Open pc-dd.bat with notepad and replace the code:
arctool.exe -dd -texRE6 -alwayscomp -pc -xfs -txt -v 7 %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9
4. Download Increased Carry Capacity "game_main.arc" what you need.
5. For example how to merge.
6. After unpack "game_main.arc", weight files are located in the folder "game_main\param\pl\weight"
