Heya, sadly this mod is incompatible with the "Spellcaster Hero" mod; I've notified that mod's author already, is there any way to make those two play nice? =)
Hey, I just saw the cutscene at Haven's Above after the time travel event but Serena can't equip whips and rods and the skill tree is missing the new skills that should have been added. The skill tree is exactly the same as before the cutscene. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
I've got an issue where I have 15/16 skills learnt for Harpistry, Spears, and Wands. The unlearn skills are ; Wands : "Grace of the Goddess". In the "learn multiple skills section, it's after "Divine intervention", and is in the same place on the skill tree. Spears : "Be Like Water". Again, in the "learn multiple skills section, it's after "Kaswooshle", and is in the same place on the skill tree. Harpistry : I've got a 3rd "Holier Hymns", and again in the "learn multiple skills section, it's after "Doleful Dirge", and is in the same place on the skill tree.
Any attempt to learn one of these skills results in soft locking the game, and having to use task manager to force the game to close.
That sounds like a case where you shouldn't learn multiple skills at a time, then. It's better to add any spells or abilities through the use of console commands, which I'm gonna do since she can't get access to Kafrizzle and Kaboomle.
This is late, but you can use a macro and command to get Serena in her Act 2.5 state and all of its wonders, which even works from Act 1 if you so desire. I don't know if it needs to be re-applied in Act 3, but I would assume it does. Requires the "DQXI-SDK" to open and use the console using the "~" key, or whatever key is in that spot. RunMacro PowerUpSena (that is not a typo) SetFlag "System" "/Player/SkillPanelState_P004" 1 (P004 being Serena and 1 being her 2.5 panel state; ignore P011 despite that still being Serena)
This is simply a workaround, but unlike this mod, it won't roll over in Act 3. I'm positive her panel state will change without this mod. So the mod is still needed if you simply don't want Act 3 to "reset" Serena.
So some people have asked this, does this mod work with "Higher Levels (Continued Stat Progression)" as i want to use both, but higher Levels takes priority over this mod. I'm in act 1 so no rush.
"Serena will NOT have access to Veronica's end game panels."
What does this exactly mean? That her skill tree will remain exactly as it was in act II after the escene of the funeral after the mentioned cutscene in the description?
Not sure if this is intentional but Serena does not have all the spells that Veronica learns by leveling up, such as Oomphle. She does have some though for whatever reason, such as Kaboom.
I ended up using the post-game fix described to fix this, although I did have this mod installed during the Havens Above cutscene, and it did give me the skill panels.
You previously messaged about 2 weeks ago. I'm assuming you weren't experiencing the issue then? Is this your first playthrough and are you sure you're at the cutscene after restoring Haven's above by travelling through time?
Something to note about Serena's skills. The ones Veronica is supposed to learn from levelling up don't get immediately unlocked on Serena. She's on the same progression path as she was in act 2 which means as she levels up she will unlock them when she hits the required levels. That means you have to level her up to receive the late game ones just as you have to do in Act 2 and with Veronica. It doesn't cheat the spells into her. That's why you only saw some and not all. The fix is designed for people who cannot go back to the cutscene and are at level 99. If you were neither of those then you didn't need the fix. I can't recommend removing it because it sounds like you're past the cutscene now.
2 weeks ago I was still pretty early in this playthrough (I'm going kind of slow), and yes I'm sure I was past that cutscene. The spells that Serena did not have were ones that should have been obtained from earlier levels. Pretty sure I would have gotten the correct spells from leveling, but the problem was that she didn't have spells that she should have already had. I've already fixed this with the console, which I removed afterward. Unfortunately I didn't think to save right before the cutscene so I can't go back to try it again.
Yeah I kept a save from right before I used the console, I'll attach images of her skills. I set her level to current, wouldn't know how to add them manually.
Thanks for the extra info, I'll look into it. One last thing, at the time of the cutscene what was her level? I know somewhere around lvl 65-ish she learns the last of her abilities. I've not seen anything to suggest Draconian will affect it but I've got to admit I didn't test it with the Draconian Quests. It could be a possibility and that would be a very strange interaction but I'm 95% confident that harder monsters won't affect it.
Keep hold of that save though because I might borrow it off you in the future to test out.
Serena was level 57, I didn't mention it before because its a bit away from the cutscene, but I do have a save from right before going back in time. If you want any saves just let me know
Just curious though, if there's a way to reverse Serena picking up Veronica's power? I plan to re-add Veronica to the party during Act 2, but of course this would be awkward because Serena will have her powers too lol.
Yes it's possible but it's not something I'm interested in making sorry. I'm currently working on a version 1.1 of this mod which won't require a console for late game saves. When I start messing with quests and character dialogues I could probably set up a multiple choice interaction to set her to any state you want. It'll be a while before I figure that one out.

The ultimate weapon mode.
It doesn't work in this mode.

I mean have the full luminary skill list from the start.
