Once you are able to get the mod working properly, it certainly does look nice. But for whatever reason, it removes the ability to use costumes from the party members besides the MC. Something that is a bit frustrating to deal with, so i won't be using it. Mods are supposed to add functionality to a game, not remove it.
I'm using the Project Rebuild version from the forums, so the site won't allow me to endorse this mod, but I just want to say that I absolutely adore it! Thank you so much for creating this! The mod looks gorgeous and the Luminary has never looked better. It's so nice to see the Luminary in a lovely royal garb rather than whatever he's going for in the original outfit. I especially love the Mark of the Luminary on the front and back of the jacket, because it really ties the outfit together along with having the Hero show off that he's the Luminary without needing to wear Erdwinn's hand-me-downs. I cannot imagine how much work you put into this mod because it's so wonderfully detailed.
Thank you again for putting so much time and effort in this mod!
I'm sure GameDev1995 can when they get back. I personally have no interest in optional versions- that's just something I whipped up real quick because the author has been gone for more than a month since I sent them the files to make an official PR-compatible update.
If someone's really interested, there are tools available for unpacking the .pak and selecting individual asset files (and either using DQXI-SDK or re-paking to use them in-game).
@mike9k1 What are the tools needed to convert this over to work for project rebuild, and do you know of a guide that explains step-by-step how? This is easily the best luminary outfit there is but the gloves version isn't as good as the normal hands one imo (if only the Luminary mark was somewhere else lol).
@popemaster- you can use quickbms to unpak the files, following the basic modding guide. Then you'll want to rename the .uass/.ue files to .uasset/.uexp (for some reason they get truncated when extracted). Remove the files you don't want, then repak using the u4pak_dq11_v2 packer tool by following the directions in the same guide.
(i've thought of publishing a couple tools to automate this and make mod customization a lot easier -- maybe i'll get around to this at some point)
I can't recall offhand what stores the gloves, I believe it is the skin texture (So it's probably like "Wear_Body_... something"). If so, you can just remove that whole texture. If it's stored with the Wear texture, then it'll need to be edited.
In any event, check the directions and resources listed with the tools there.
@GameDev1995 I'd be happy to help you put together a Project Rebuild-compatible version if you'd like ("A Knight's Bond" as well).
Just contact me on our Discord (I'll try to @ you pretty soon as well)
Edit: They contacted me, ya'll should have a Project Rebuild Compatible version soon. Also, I forgot that "A Knight's Bond" is already compatible, go check it out if you haven't seen it yet ;)
Edit 2, (05/21): I don't think they ever got around to packing & uploading it (they are busy w/ development of their own game), but I had sent the source files via DM's about a month ago. I'll follow up soon.

PR-compatible .pak file is available here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aK9ik25k32IrG9guLX2DJ3toMLurIapF/view
(^both the regular version and hood in one pak)
