Royal Luminary is a texture replacer for the hero's clothing, this mod only works with Definitive Edition (DE) due to model UV changes between the two games.
The new .pak method has finally arrived for texture mods! I have to give credit to the amazing work the guys over at the modding community discord have done over the past month, they have dedicated their time and effort to ensure the implementation of these files. If it wasn't for these guys we would be stuck with that dreadful injection method from special K so give them some love if you bump into them. mike9k1 KomodoMods
Installation Instructions:
If this is your first time installing a mod you will need to find where your "Pak" folder is located, my setup example is as follows.
"G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DRAGON QUEST XI S\Game\Content\Paks"
Download any version of the "Royal Luminary" mod with or without the optional file (The optional file does not require the main file in order for it to work).
Place the .Pak file "pakchunk0-WindowsNoEditor_P_RoyalLuminary_v2.0.pak" into the folder mentioned above.
There we go, the game should automatically load in the new textures!
