    Does this mod change something about Erick? Because now Erick has a constant Divide effect that can't be removed in any way! It's always active!

    Hello, is it normal that I don't experience damage reduction while dual-wielding even though I haven't unlocked the dually deadly skill yet?

    Please, could you add the ability for the Luminary to learn Critical Claim and Divide. Even as an optional version of the mod, if you don't want to add them to the main version. That would be very appreciated!
    In particular Critical Claim would be very useful on the MC, because he has no effective way of dealing with metal enemies.
    Anyway, this is, by far, the best mod for this game!

    Don't know if this is still being check but if you do, then can you explain to me what is happening here:

    pakchunk1-WindowsNoEditor_P_Tension_DQ8Style_0.1.3.pak OVERRIDES pakchunk0-WindowsNoEditor_counter_with_sword_v0.0.1.pak for the following files:
        
    JackGame\Content\DataTables\Tokugi\DT_PassiveTokugiTable.uass
    JackGame\Content\DataTables\Tokugi\DT_PassiveTokugiTable.ue

    Is tokugitable important to counter with sword and will it stop it from working?
    Duel wielding works just fine.

      I got answered on the other mods comment section.

      if this is the only conflict between those mods, that's not a massive deal. DT_PassiveTokugiTable is used to grant the Psych-Up ability to party members with this mod, but that's about the extent of it. 

      what you could do is make it so that counter_with_sword will override this mod by renaming it to "pakchunk2-WindowsNoEditor_counter_with_sword_v0.0.1.pak"

    Unfortunately it looks like this is incompatible with just about everything. The only way I could get it to work was by having it as the only mod.

      It should only be incompatible with mods that mess with the skill trees (and the main character animations for the gyrfalcon version), did you remember to re-spec before installing?

      Yep. tried everything. My other mods have to do with project rebuild. I don't think they messed with animations but maybe. I uninstalled both smoother animations and faster run speeds so all that was left was project rebuild and it still wouldn't work. worked like a charm after I uninstalled it though. unfortunately rebuild is a must for me. I might try the version without gyrfalcon and see if it works.

      Figured it out. I was overlooking a .pak that messed with skill point cost.

      Is it possible another character's skill tree being modded would cause issues for this mod? I have Serena 2.5 so she keeps Veronica's abilities in Act 3, and other than Project Rebuild stuff that appears to be the only thing changing skill trees.

      Yeah the game uses 1 file for all skill trees so any mod that messes with any aspect of any tree are incompatible with each other, that said when i was looking for a way to give the mc dually deadly there was a guide on how to give serena her act 2 abilities with console commands in this steam guide https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2149039713 so maybe that way you can use both

      It is a shame that we cannot have both this mod and the Serena 2.5 together as they are both equally great.

    Your work is fantastic !  It was an opportunity to play the game again!   I'd like to ask if it's possible to equip the two-handed sword with dual wield.

      hey glad you like the mod sorry to say but i have no intention to mess around with the items in the game also not sure it's even possible since two handed swords occupy both slots in your hand.

    Great idea for a mod, however, I cannot get the new skill updates to appear in game. Are there any mods that you are aware of that this may conflict with? I started a new game as well and cannot get this to work. Thank you.

      The mod should be incompatible with any mod that messes with any of the skill trees in the game(the game uses 1 file for all of them) and the gyrfalcon version should also be incompatible with any mod that messes with the main character's animations(possibly only combat animations not sure), other than that you should make sure to re spec before installing the mod (one handed tree for normal version and one handed+luminary for gyrfalcon).
