An amusing little bug with this mod seems to be that skipping the battle intros actually affects the enemies. Apparently some of them use that intro to switch from their wandering field sprite to their battle ready pose. With the intro skip, they never transition over... It's a harmless bug, and is easily missed if you don't have an eye for detail, but you can spot it on some enemies.
Crab enemies still face sideways instead of towards you, possessed armour-types don't draw their weapons, trolls remain in their casual walking pose instead of hefting their clubs, Heliodore Soldiers just stand their in a neutral pose instead of bracing for combat, gryphons remain airborne and flapping around instead of landing for a fight...
You're probably not working on this game anymore, but if you are willing, would it be possible to also skip the lengthy Perfect announcement that takes up like 5 seconds each time you get a perfect forge? Or at least reduce it to 1 second if possible. It stresses me out so much having to sit through it every time lol. If not, I understand and thank you for this mod either way!
I've seen something similar to that request from time to time. I would like to look into whatever logic locks the input during some of these long music jingles ("Success", "Perfect", etc), but I probably won't have the time as I'm usually working on other things these days.
I suspect a blueprint somewhere controls this though. Maybe one day we'll get a new modder in the community who can read our documentation and look into it further.
That was something I had tried really hard to make work with this mod at one point: Where it would just skip all of the intermission and take you straight from Act 1 to Act 2, just like the original (OG) version of the game.
Unfortunately, I could never get it to work right and after many many hours of trial and error, I gave up. I would always end up getting stuck in this weird limbo map of this half-loaded Cobblestone (I believe this is actually related to the cutscene that plays while Luminary is drowning, it flashes back to a scene of him and his mother)
Alternatively, I would also get stuck here, if that cutscene was disabled:
---------------------------
However, there is a command to skip straight to the beginning of Act 2 with a macro in the Debug Console:
msc B010-01
Or you can grab the macro extensions with this mod , then:
Can you still unlock the super boss in 3d mode if you skip the tickington quest? Can you just skip all tickington quests except the last tickington super boss to unlock 3d mode super boss?
If you really just want to cheat, you can just use the command console and run ForceGetItem All 1 This mod is more for allowing you the freedom to choose if or when you want to do the quests. Not just giving you everything for doing nothing.
I'm thinking of trying to add some more stuff to this mod like removing the unnecessary "Traveler Tips" that interrupt your quest. As well as a possible Act 1 - Act 2 Intermission skip (basically take out Sylvando Jade Erik and Rab's side stories between Acts 1 & 2 and make it play like the OG version).
The bonuses aren’t super worth it. The only real point to doing Tickington at all is to unlock the superboss in 3D mode in Act 3, which can easily be spawned in using console commands. With the mod, you can just do the relevant chapters for the Benevolessence, War Drum, and the Godbird Sceptre, which I think are the only worthwhile rewards in that questline.

Like I said. Harmless, but amusing.

Might there also be a way to skip certain character story segments, like say, Sylvando's? Or just all of them?
