Can you add a little tutorial in the description for the manual download. I'm new to this stuff and usually rely on the Vortex to install everything, but my pc can't find the game file. I'm trying to do this manually, but I don't know where to place the file at...
%66 is working perfectly. Thank you kindly now i can restart the game :D for the note: Its %66 rounded up. It will be enough to max all trees for all characters without skill seeds with the mod. (Roughly at Lv 80 i think)
so i downloaded the new half cost and it doesn't work. like im at the start with the hero and erik. for the hero it does nothing and for erik it only halves the top part of the skills
i still recommend using %66 version. You still max all trees around level 80 which is quite balanced in my opinion. If you want to grind even further you can remove the mod and still enjoy you grinding after past 80.
My guy some people dont want balance in their playthroughs, i dont make mods for balance they all can improve how you play the game or just help out while you complete it, your constant balance this balance that doesnt fit the agenda im aiming for here (Hence why 66% is in Misc) everyone is different and suggesting one way probs contradicts what they have downloaded this mod for and thats to unlock everything quicker.
Skill points cost %50 works like a charm, truly thank you. However there is a sideeffect: All skills that normally would be locked is unlocked. So 2x skill points mod also would be interesting.
I actually meant 2x skill points per level. As skill points cost modification mods also remove locked skill perquisites. What I'm saying is 2x sp per level mods may be preferable over these mods. I'm sorry I didn't make it clear :)
thank you kindly, although not being locked of locked skills is not a huge deal but i find it balance breaking. (more than 0,5 sp cost in my opinion)
So yeah, its kinda up to personal preference.
The idea that i liked about 0,5 sp cost that in DQ XI you obtain less skills than previous installments of the game like DQ8 Where you can easily fullfill most of the skill tress (except fisticuff which is useless anyways) or the other titles where you can revocate classes and reset your levels.
i get it, a data structure for each character. Alternatively you can make a sp cost version with locked skills if possible. (And if you wanted to) Also a version with locked skills but without "?" mark on these skills mods also would be niche. I hate checking locked skills from GameFAQ every time. :DUp to you boss.
