    How do I know if this mod actually works? I can confirm the exp one does but I'm using the rare 25% mod atm and so far it has yet to reliably show it's working.

    I've killed tons of Bunicorns (24) and have yet to see a Leather Hat drop. That should be at 33% with the current mod.

    Edit: It's not so that it only increases the current drop ratio by those percentages? Say, a rare drop has a 5% drop ratio normally. So your mod (The 50/50) would make it only 10%? Tbh, I don't see a difference. If it was truly 50% for both, you should notice the effect right away.

    Edit 2: Sorry for the long-winded post but this mod does not seem to work. I'm using The 50/100 one (50% for both drop rates) and I killed 10+ enemies. No drops at all from them.

    Edit 3: NOW it works for some reason. Took until after Heliodor Sewers. I have no idea why.

      Thanks I was just about to bug report too as I am in the first area after leaving cobble stone and I haven't had a single enemy drop anything yet. 
      I'll keep going until after the sewers to see if it sorts itself out.

      Seems there might be an issue with working alongside the double exp mod too. But maybe that's known issue?

    Can you make a 1/10 to 1/3 version ?
    %10 rare %30 normal
    Also 1/8 to 1/3 quite tempting but too op

    does it works when draconian missions are on ? i startet a new game with draconian modes and the mobs drops nothing :/

      oh nvm i found out its not compatible with New Battles (Act 4)
      its maybe possible to fix that ? :D

      Sorry, I've finished the game and have been very busy with work and family matters. Don't think I'll be updating this anymore.
      However, to workaround the issue, you could remove the New Battles (Act 4) mod from your pak folder and add back that mod only when you start Act 4. This way, before you reach Act 4, you would have accumulated all monster drops which should be sufficient.

    What a fantastic idea, collecting items from monsters has always been a tricky thing in DQ, thanks for making this experience better. And an interesting option would be 15% rare and 20% normal (I use 25% rare and 24.75% normal)

      @lyaofelipe Updated version 8 with probabilities 14% rare and 21% normal.
      There is no way to make exactly 15% rare and 20% normal.

      The default rate varies per monster per common vs rare drops. From always drop to 1/255.

    Hey there @realij

    Is it possible for you to make a mod where we can set up 5 player party or is it possbile to use one reserve member as a guest member. (Fifth member on a lineup settings)

    I ask this to you because other modders usually make texture or a sound file mods.

      Hi @anl93,

      This seems pretty complicated. Unfortunately, I don't think I have either the expertise or the time to look into this. It won't be as simple as updating some datatables. At the very least, I imagine that requires updating the game logic and UI to set and interact with the 5th party slot.

      Completely unrelated but for FF12 zodiac age it took years for a 4 party working mod to get released... where by default the 4th slot was reserved for guest.   So maybe one day? I am not sure if the DQ11 UI would work well for a 5th active member though?

    Not sure what's going on but even with 50/100 rate nothing drops. I doubt its because im in the early game, going to the Barrow. I have a few other mods like the New Battles one, which might be having a conflict but I don't know.

    Edit: Turns out it was the New Battles mod. I guess since it adds enemies it had to change the drop table values, which makes sense. Guess I'll leave it out until the end when I can actually fight them.

      That makes sense. Since this drop rate mod modifies the monster table. The new battles mod needs to modify the same table too.
