Hero Outfit - Tan Luminary
Tan recolor for the main character, with additional brown eyes and a subtle scar across his left eye. I personally thought that the weird purple/green tones of the original hero were some of the most out of place in the entire game, and thought to offer him my own creative vision.
The overall tan hue provided by this mod is, to me, the perfect compromise to pay homage to both his humble Cobblestone origins and his fate as the Luminary. In one way it's very modest, in another it's still subtly reminiscent of the color of light (ie. yellow) without being any flashy or overdone. What can I say, in my view those 'unlikely heroes' produce the best tales and I feel like this recolor perfectly hints at this compelling narrative.
Also included are brown eyes and a subtle scar across his left eye. Four (4) files are provided in total and you can obviously add/remove those at will if you somehow prefer the original content or the one of other modders. The files are as follows:
FECAF104.dds - Main tan outfit
8A38D98B.dds - Brown eyes
E939114A.dds - Scar for the main outfit
1A1419E1.dds - Scar for the DQ8 outfit
Additional texture files might possibly be required to show the scar on other outfits, but seeing as I haven't unlocked those yet and can't even work on them means that I won't be able to provide them since a short while.

Important note: Eyes recolors are somewhat temperamental in Kaldaien's Special K mod and often require to be loaded manually at the start of the game by hitting the 'Reload All Injected Textures' button inside said mod. A very minor annoyance, but consider yourself warned. There's nothing that I myself can do about it, so please don't bug me with any of it.
