About this mod

Adds 68 tracks from the Japanese versions of classic Dragon Ball Z games. They are synthesized recreations from the anime, not the official versions. Their quality varies (PS2 or PS3) based on the last game the track was found in. I also edited the tracks to make them seamless with their unedited versions as a different file.

Games these tracks are pulled from: Sparking!, Sparking! NEO, Sparking! METEOR, Raging Blast, Raging Blast 2, Ultimate Blast, and Battle of Z.

Most of the tracks from those games aren't seamless. But when making this mod I felt like I was doing enough editing to make them seamless that it warranted an unedited whole looping version for purists. Additionally, the Seamless file has an extra loop that I liked more, but it cut out too much of the rest of the track so I kept both.

TRACK LISTS

Can be viewed in the attached images or through this spreadsheet.

By default, the titles of the songs are the catalog numbers used during the anime's production, unless the song is an insert to which the title is translated. A mix between their common titles and the titles chosen from the games are listed in brackets() along side to help distinguish. Square brackets[] indicate different versions, and {Synth} is listed to differentiate from the normal versions of these tracks.

The spreadsheet also lists each game the track was used in, what context the track debuted in the anime, and a handful of alternate title suggestions for the tracks as the common titles used for them are kind of all over the place.

Two files are currently available:
BGMModAnimeFromJPGamesSeamless has every track seamlessly loop, along with an extra loop type track.
BGMModAnimeFromJPGames has 11 seamlessly looping tracks, and the rest loop the whole song; the unedited version.
Don't grab both versions or you'll have many duplicate tracks listed.

SETUP FOR BEGINNERS

Goes in the SparkingZERO/Mods/ folder, next to Kuro's Music Manager, which is required. The Music Manager allows extra customization detailed here:

Renaming BGM
Edit the name field within each folder's MusicManagerConfig.json. Save, then open the in-game Music Manager (SHIFT + M) and click “Reload Music Mod JSONs”. Note: normal apostrophes cannot be used in titles!

BGM Volume
Adjust overall volume with the in-game Music Manager (SHIFT + M) volume slider. You can also adjust every track individually with the baseVolumeMultiplier field within each folder's MusicManagerConfig.json. Just save and then click “Reload Music Mod JSONs” in-game once more.

BGM Order / Track Removal
Find the MusicManager folder for Kuro’s mod and open the ReOrderBGM.json (You may want to use a JSON formatter to help you). You’ll see a list of track keys and the word unlocked a lot.

You can rearrange each “BGMModExample_track”: “Unlocked”, set to change the order you want in game, an can even delete a set to remove the BGM entirely.

Once you have everything how you'd want it, save the json file and then in-game with the Music Manager (SHIFT + M) click “Update BGM Order”.
