2.4.1 Update 1. Fixed the version not being right. The version is embedded in the program and I was testing it - and left it on an old version after testing. Pure oversight on my part. No other changes were made.
2. Potential future update(s): - Include a setting (program settings) to allow the speed hack to launch when the program launches. - Include a method to allow the user to pick the speed of the speed hack - Maybe "F2"?
2.4 Update 1. Added a Cheat Engine Table to allow speed hacking. Perfect for getting through the tedious UI or Story sequences. Activate in-game by pressing F1. - Requires Cheat Engine to be installed. - Script requires UAC admin rights to send commands to cheat engine. - Note: You don't need to run the Configuration Editor as admin. The script will ask for administrator rights only where its needed. 2. Added the "Open Game" menu option to the File Menu. 3. Added the "Reset Program" menu option to the Help Menu. 4. Removed unneeded code.
2.3 Update 1. Added the ability for users to install and open the ~mods folder directly from the program. 2. Added the ability for the application to search for updates.
2.2 Update 1. Added a function to the Configuration Editor to allow users to resize the game window when in windowed mode. Note that the Editor must be running when the game is launched for this to work.
Hey, great config editor, though, is there a way to revert all changes since the colors of the game (due to the config) looks weird and I'm not a huge fan of it. thank you!
Is there a way to update the path to look for the files? Every time I press on Open Engine Config File or Open Graphics Config File I get an error of system could not find specified file. Does this have a GitHub if so I could help with fixes.
1. Are the settings in-game saving for you? It sounds like you don't have permissions to write to the appdata folder, which may cause the game to not save its settings.
2. Are you using a legit steam copy on a Windows OS?
The issue isn't whether or not I can change/update the filepath. The issue is where your game is reading and writing the config files? Because even if we change the filepath in the application, there's no guarantee the game will see those files.
I am using a legit steam copy both my engine and gameusersettings are at C:\Users\houri\AppData\Local\SparkingZERO\Saved\Config\Windows which is the default location for the files to be located at. Where is it expecting to find these files?
This is fixed. I tried several times to upload with the same file version as I didn't change anything from 2.4. However, for whatever reason, nexus mods did not update the file, just the information on the file. So I had to archive and upload a new version. This all started because I was testing the version updates last night as it seemed to not be working properly, so I set the version to 2.3 to test, and I forgot to change it back before uploading it. I probably attempted 5 times to upload the file version under 2.4, but eventually had to settle with 2.4.1. Crazy.
If the program is flagged by your antivirus, you can safely ignore it. Some antiviruses may flag .exe or .reg files as potentially dangerous. I am entirely transparent about this program, so if you have any questions or concerns I will happily answer them for you.
ghosting could be caused by hardware on your end, but you can probably set the DOF, Motion Blur to off, and turn on "Finish Current Frame" in the engine.ini. That should help.
ty for the update! any chance to add a box mark check for every setting on engine.ini?(settings with sliders)just for using the only config i want. (google translate)
That's not a bad idea. At some point I may do this. For now, I recommend just taking your time with it and setting it up how you want.
I emphasize that I work on this when I can but there's no guarantee I will have time at any given point to add a bunch of new stuff.
I will finish adding tooltips, optimizing what's in the program already, and then afterwards I may add enable/disable boxes to each of the settings to add/remove them as users want.

Looking into the scripts I can't find a way to specify where to load or save these changes.
Edit: I should also note that there's no error message while saving settings either.
