i downloaded beck's music player, i downloaded the file without the replacer, i did the json thing but it didnt work. Every sparking zero OG track changed name but they have the same music as always (btw, i didnt wanted to replace the names/songs of the og ones, i just wanted to add more). After "none" theres nothing :(
You downloaded the text replacer that replaces the text. I detailed my exact install method in the description, if it's not showing up you're doing something wrong.
i downloaded bgm 150 slots, i put it in mods folder, then i modified json file adding amvbgm to the end of it without coma and its still not working :s
Been using this mod since the first version (i believe) and it's gotten better each update! I wanted to add some songs request to the ones i made a few days ago, they are songs i both like and think the pack would be absolute fire with them in. I don't know about modding audio stuff into this game, so i hope it's not too much to ask since it is not exactly a short list
Those would be tracks i'd love to see added into the pack! I know it is kinda of a big request, but i hope you could add them, even if it isn't all in just the same update.
For now, everything works like a charm for me, even with a completely different ost pack added as replacers working together with yours (Every ost as added ver.) Anyway, keep it up! best mod out there OST related by far!
After the 4.20 update, there are some volume inconsistencies with the "replacer" osts and the "added" ones (EX: Monster is way louder than Bring Me To Life), to the point where a song is so loud i can barely hear the rest of the game, then when it changes to a replaced ost, it's barely audible since i have to lower the volume on the settings for an added ost not to blast my ears off.
Another thing that i don't know if it is possible, but in custom battles, the ost from the added pack does not play when effect "change bgm" is activated and simply stays mute and so does the song after it, even if it is a replacer one (It works perfectly fine if it changes between replacer songs), and the only solution i found is triggering an event right after the "change bgm" effect for the song to play.
Other than that, everything works perfectly fine for me and would love to see added: - "My Demons" by Starset (Preferably without the intro voice at the very beginning) - "Stormtroopers" by Sabaton
I hope it's understandable as english isn't my native language. Great and essential mod, absolutely loving it!
with the new music manager update you can alter the volume in game as you see fit :) as for the other tracks i will add them when i get around to it
the custom battles thing is something i'll bring up to the person who made the music manager since I can't actually do anything about that on my end, I just use their tool to add tracks the only thing I can really do is alter the base track volume and change the track names
i will say though i've been experiencing that same custom battle bug since the game came out and I find its more than likely on the games end rather than the mods end, the custom battle mode has a lot of these bugs i noticed
some new songs for the future woul dbe entombed by deftones, Orchestrate by yeat preferably the slowed version and today by smashing pumpkins and some things by nirvana cus why not
i havent got the yeat one downloaded atm but the rest of the tracks are already in unreal engine for the next update, "why not" is exactly why nirvana's in the pack in the first place so i definitely got you there LOL appreciate you
Also for some reason when i did everything you told me to in the actual mod folder the game goes back to its default soundtracvk but when i put the pak filed in there from this download the sound comes back without the extra slots.
EDIT: So the muisic mod is workinng its just urs but i did everything right do i need the dlc music packs?
im not sure what the issue could be, but for the new added tracks this is the exact method I use for manually installing. you need to place the MusicManager and the AMVBGM folders in your SparkingZero\Mods folder (not your paks\~mods folder) make sure that the MusicManager folder is literally called "MusicManager" and the AMVBGM folder is literally called "AMVBGM". (If you use unverum or another mod manager, make sure theyre structured the same way) then go into the musicmanager folder and edit the bgm json to add the line "AMVBGM": "/AMVBGM", to the top of the directory, or remove the comma at the end if you add it to the bottom. some people have had issues when copy/pasting the line so i suggest typing the line out manually instead of copying it. then launch the game :)
you don't need the DLC music pack, all you need for the new added tracks is the Music Manager and the AMVBGM file (which is separate from the main amv bgm pack which replaces the files)
I hope this helps, I'm gonna be uploading a big update in a couple hours from now adding more tracks and a version that adds all the og tracks as new tracks too
yeah no same thing. for some reason when i put the pak files into the pak folders everything works fine at least for the music mod but not for yours if i remove the pak files itr goes back to the default soundtrack and i tried putting AMVBGM on the top and bottom and still nothing. do i have to clear out my mods folder or what or is it a reload 2 issue
Edit: wait a minute u said the amvbgm is seperate from the main file and i deleted the main file so maybe thats the problem. And after doing that theres no new tracks just still the ore existing ones
that's probably it, the main amv bgm pack only replaces the songs that are already in the game, the newly added slots version uses the music manager to add slots which is why its a requirement for that version
Edit: sorry im annoying u with all of this but the replacer one worked actually for some reason the non replacer version worked. does on eversion have more songs than the other tho?
you're all good, yeah one is meant to have more than the other one, i made a version so it could be used with the replacer and one that has all the tracks
1) Make an optional/separated file (or new mod) that adds all MISSING/HIDDEN BGMs of SPARKING ZERO? There are some great BGM that only appears in story mode, and cannot be played outside it because they are not in the Vanilla list of BGMs.
2) Add an optional/separated file (or new mod) that adds the 2 DLCs BGMs (even better if you manage to get the extended version of them, since it looks like some of them are short versions)?
1 is definitely something I can look into and as for 2 I've already added in things like Day of Fate, DBZ and GT opening themes extended versions in the new slot version but I need to add in like the broly ost's and ost's from the show (like blizzard, cell games/tokusentai themes) which I will be doing at some point in the future
I found this playlist on youtube that should have all OSTs of Sparking zero, including the missing ones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9sprzl_OY8&list=PL2Z9SiI9OrNM7vPm9utumIPeg04nCxtKr&index=66
Climax is one of the missing OSTs, it only appears on Story mode (goku vs frieza), for example.
If you could do one or both requests (the dlc ones), please can you make them separated from the AMV and others songs you added?
I'd like to have that version as baseline for the Sparking Zero ost full unlocked so i can come back to this only when i want to have a "modless/canon only" sparking zero game (Useful when i want to host some local games with my friends in split screen at my house, without extra-non canon stuff)

As for the custom battle thing, i figured there was little to do on your end, but it's huge of you to bring it up to the music manager modder!
btw everything works fine, i even got it to work alongside a ost mod that replaces the original soundtrack and everything seems to be good!
I saw the images in the preview and assumed it would be like that. Fire pack overall
