Love the statues begone of this mod, excellent work! <3
This mod inspired me to dig a bit into making an all encompassing theme mod, but I have a question that's a little out there... Would it be possible to have a theme (Antivan, for example) leaving the bookshelves in place instead of that cage? Technically it's still the library with the floating shelves, but it feels odd not to have the shelves remain to me. I have figured out how to leave the statues out, but the bookshelf thing is a bit out of my league right now (I'm essentially a curious nooblet lol).
Thank you either way, oh and I am willing to do the work myself, just don't know how.
Seconding this - would love a version of the Tevinter decor with all the big statues (in the Library and Courtyard) removed! And maybe some of the Tevinter banners too. I love the lanterns and couches but agree that the statues are a bit much.
This is amazing. A friend of mine spent all of last night trying to find the file path in the editor for this. Pray-tell, bestow upon me with your wisdom and knowledge so that they may gain a way to find the antivan theme.
If you choose the mod in the modmanager and then click the "Description" tab in the right-side panel you can see the affected files: levels/hubs/hub_personal_dsl/sta_theme_greywarden_zs_165 levels/hubs/hub_personal_dsl/sta_theme_greywarden_zs_133 (I manually typed these so I can't swear they're 100% correct - I just had to edit them to add "hubs/" to the path because I'd overlooked it.)
I assume the file path is similar for other themes, but I'm not currently making mods so I haven't looked at the structure at all other than what shows in the manager.
hiii, i'm the friend! totally new at modding, I've only done basic asset deletion after reading padme's tutorial, so forgive me if i ask newb things. 🙏
So I got to the right file path initially, but when I first attempted, I deleted meshes from MeshVariationDb_Win32 and my game crashed whenever I tried going to the lighthouse, so I'm assuming I was doing something wrong? Any/all pointers would be greatly appreciated.
How difficult would it be to only remove the nug statues/tables from the Warden theme? I've modded other games, but I am wondering if it would be worth learning Frosty enough to do so.
hi, thank you for this mod, it's been driving me nuts because I love the aesthetics overall, but hate the hulking great statues, so I've kept the original theme for my whole playthrough. I'm trying to edit the Mourn Watch theme now, and I've located the files I need, but have no idea where to go from here. like elfnpc, I'm new to this and have mostly been editing outfits, which is quite different. how do I find the bit that lets you tick/untick the visibility boxes for the various companents of the themes?
Click Object -> [0] -> MemberDatas there you can set whether they are Visible or have PhysicsEnabled. Disable physics if you are hiding objects https://imgur.com/o372HCs
After seeing your excellent work on the themes I was wondering if you would be willing to do something to expand on the Meditation Room to make it seem more like "Rooks" home space. The other areas of the Lighthouse can change according to theme and customizations by characters. But Rooks personal space is always so bland.
I did some "horrible" edits with paint as I am not proficient with most design tools as a suggestion. Someone said they thought the ugly windows could not be edited because it was a mesh (My original thought was stained glass to cover the hideous water theme). Next suggestion is (Ceiling to Floor) curtains. Extending the platform a little to place a rug, bed, nightstand, etc. and removing the candles littering the platform. Flip the Long Bookcase from the left wall facing the windows and mirror it under the opposite wall to be uniform and eye pleasing.
It won't let me post the photos here but I can send them if you have a way for me to share them somewhere.
Hi Cerberry, I followed all your work for BG3 and now you're doing more great work on DAtV :) Thank you for the great mod !!
Wish it would be possible for you to make replayable romance scenes for DAtV like you did BG3, but I'm guessing that might not work with Frosty. But, if it is, that would be most welcomed indeed.
Love this!! Thank you for taking us back to a lite version of themes! I always like showing themes but the ones in Veilguard are a bit overdone! Are you considering redoing some of the other factions as well?
I just finished a Warden playthrough, and wish I'd had this because the nug statues were such overkill. Thanks for making this; I'm grabbing it for next time!

what do you want to remove - just the statues?
levels/hubs/hub_personal_dsl/sta_theme_greywarden_zs_165
levels/hubs/hub_personal_dsl/sta_theme_greywarden_zs_133

133 is for the main hub, 165 for the outside decor

you can't delete meshes from db, you can only enable/disable visibility for them
@AwesomeJPossum
It's easy, just need to untick some checkboxes. I can upload a no-nug version later

I wish we had script extender here

I'll take a look at the others when I can
