I know this mod's been out for awhile, and I've had it tracked for some time and just now considering giving it a shot. I didn't drag my heels because of the mod. I think mainly because I wasn't sure the trade-off was good enough. Ironically, by avoiding choosing Treviso at least once I have never done a playthrough as a Crow and realized that was just silly. Truthfully, only when you play as a SD or Crow backstory does it feel personal or like there's betrayal on your character's end if you choose the opposite city to your faction. All the other faction back stories aren't really effected that much or just not the same level of expectation, which I suppose makes sense, it's just unfortunate.
I am curious how a Crow character who chooses Min. is treated the remainder of the game by the Crows. I have an idea, but wasn't sure. I have the hardened Lucanis romance mod installed and I've been using Dave for some time in regards to editing my teams heroic status and skills. I guess, my main question is for those that have used this mod, if romancing Lucanis or not having to worry about your teams heroic status is a non issue would you still sometimes choose Treviso or would you continue to save Min. if you have the ability to edit those two main issues. Just looking for some feedback, I suppose.
Well I'm heading to the end part of the game, and thanks to this awesome mod, I could see what IF I saved Minrathous. It added so much fun.
ANYWAY, odd thing happened to me. I cleared all sub and main story quests and while other companions archived their heroic status, but Neve just didn't. Hardened companion's heroic status trigger slower than others, I already know that, but still it should be triggered before go to you-know-where.
So I searched for the clue, and Nafrit's comment says
"Nev_2_3_410_heroic_rewards_QST"--setting the quest (the RDA) to "Eligible" worked
So I tried that method. It sill didn't work. DAVE guide (very helpful) said I could checked the box and enable her heroic skill would do, but honestly I couldn't find what or where her heroic skill is (at least in DAVE editor).
Anyway after few hours of trying, I fixed it. (I really hope so.) If any of you have the same problem with me, you may try what I did :
make fresh save, backup your save file in safe place
disabled this mod (I used all 4 of them)
start the game and go to Minrathous. Game will trigger few quests - I got 2. Finish them, make fresh save.
quit the game, load last save in DAVE
go to the quest tab, search "Nev_2_3_410_heroic" and you will see few result.
FindNev_2_3_410_heroic_rewards_QST_RDA_(numbers) and Nev_2_3_410_heroic_QST_RDA_(numbers)
select each, now you check few boxes.
Nev_2_3_410_heroic_rewards_QST_RDA_(numbers) : check "Eligible" Nev_2_3_410_heroic_QST_RDA_(numbers) : check "Eligible", "Completed", and "_NumTimesCompleted" from 0 to 1.
Save, Enabled mods you disabled, start the game, load edited save and it should trigger Nev's heroic status right away.
Hope this works for anyone who might have the same trouble. I will update if anything else happen. (I really hope not!)
Any issues with romancing Neve? I had the mod running and completed her lock in quest, but when I returned to the light house, other people (Emmrich and Belara) still had the romantic option. I don't quite know what to do fix this.
I didn't romanced Neve BUT I flirted few times with her, so I don't think it's this mod which prevent Nev romance. Have you tried DAVE? DAVE will show your companion's status, including romance, and you may fix it by editing it.
Thank you for this amazing mod! I installed all the options but ran into a bug of some kind where I can't use the door between the shop and the hide out. I can still get out by using one of the other beacons tough. Didn't see it mentioned anywhere so I thought I'd report it.
Huh! I'm having a lot of troubling replicating that bug. Is the door-opening sigil on the floor just inside the door lit up and not working, or is it not even lighting up, even when you stand on it? Do you have any other mods installed that also affect Minrathous?
Found the issue! I installed your mods for a new playthrough, but only added the 'remove weird quests' one after the dragon attack but before I went back to Dock Town for the first time. I deleted that one, and now it works perfectly. My bad :)
To answer your question: the sigil did light up, but didn't trigger the door.
I just ran into this bug! Sigil lights up but the door will not open from either side.
I was just using the fast travel spots to get around it, but your saying the "weird quests" file is the cause? I am after Weishaupt and have already saved the Viper and Damas so if I remove that file will I get the weird quests or has the trigger for them safely passed?
I also had an issue where the Black Emporium quest trigger was advertised at the lighthouse but The Caretaker was not triggering it.
Solved this when I went to Minrathous and talked to the Emporium person outside the Shadows hideout who correctly gave the quest. When I went back to the lighthouse the caretaker then proceeded to give his black emporium speech/codex. This is an extremely minor issue to me, easily ignored now I know the quest is not blocked, but thought it worth mentioning.
For reference I have the Base, Weird and Neve files installed. I had the flavor text but removed it early on because I personally still like people referencing the dragon attack and venatori issues.
I honestly love this mod so much. Thank You Nafrit! Thank you for letting me save Treviso from the blight without having to miss or mourn all the Shadow Dragons. For letting Lucanis and Neve both be hopeful and happy! Not a single issue has made me want to use this mod any less; I can keep fast traveling around the base so long as the Shadow Dragons are still in it, and I can ignore an exclamation point for a bit while I get to Minrathous. This Mod is beautiful and amazing.
Also reporting that I have the same issue. The door worked fine prior to the Minrathous/Treviso event, but afterwards, the sigil is lit up but doesn't open the door.
Just an odd thing happening here. Neve's romance is locked, yet I am still getting the option to flirt with others. I did the gathering rocks scene, had the kiss, and when I went back to the Lighthouse, Bellara was still flirting as was Emmrich and both still had the heart on the companion menu. I don't have multiple romance installed.

Thank you so much for this! I too played Minrathous first and trying the Treviso path after was... not great. This pretty much realizes my headcanonical story of Rook and Neve agreeing that Treviso needs the help and dealing with the consequences in Minrathous.
Important Nevemancing question that isn't directly answered in the description yet is whether this gives Neve the unhardened banter and flirt options? I'll come back with an answer if nobody knows offhand, so it can go in the desc :)
Fair Warning. I just completed a game using the Save Minrathous from the point of choosing Minrathous to When Plans Align and there is a problem. Since, when you save Treviso, you must do all of Neve's quest AND save the Viper in order to achieve Hero of the Veilguard status for Neve, you cannot do so with this mod.
I do believe there may be a work around, as long as you can Save the Viper before you do Soul of the City. I am uncertain how it will read it. I am going to play it through again, but this time I will use the Save Minrathous mod after saving the Viper and see how it all pans out. I will let you know the results.
After testing multiple saves I've finally figured out how to make it work. You can only Save the Viper if you don't use the option to remove the "weird" quests. You still need to do those in order to save the Viper. Then, you need to remove the Mod at some point after doing Neve's companion questline and before you complete To Act As One. The scene to talk to Neve and Elek at the Lighthouse will only trigger if the mod is down. Once you get Veilguard on Neve you can reactivate the mod.
Oh wow, thank you for narrowing down the exact issue for me! I've been completely absorbed in trying to get endgame romances to work with my Multiple Romances Mod for the past week, but now that THAT's finally done, I think I'll be able to get this sorted :) Do you think it makes more sense to drop the requirement to "Save the Viper" for Neve to be a Hero of the Veilguard, or to make the "Save the Viper" quest and the Neve/Elek scene available at their original times?
I do think it makes sense to require Neve to save the Viper. The Viper is her faction head and, in her particular storyline, the only character at risk. The Viper being blighted with subsequent Lighthouse dialogue between Davin and she, plus her travel dialogue with Harding regarding him shows that she is actually connected closer to him than the game really makes clear through quest play. For me, it equates to Lucanis and Catarina, Emmrich and Manfred, Davrin and Assan's siblings, Taash and Shathann, Bellara and Cyrian. Following the Companion's quests, everyone has someone they need to attempt to save (and deal with the consequences of their success or failure) in order to become a Hero of the Veilguard. But in Neve's and Harding's case, it's easy to miss who they are. For Neve, it's the Viper. For Harding, it's the Titans.
The crux, I think, comes with the Lighthouse scene between Neve and Elek. Every companion quest ends with a Lighthouse scene; but for some reason, Neve's pops up much later after completing her questline than it does for the others. So it does cause players to panic when her Hero status isn't popping up for their game as one would expect. Because you save the Viper before you take out Aelia (Neve's arch-nemesis), many don't realize that it's a requirement....and one you can miss.
What you've said makes perfect sense! I've updated "weird quests" so that it just removes the first two quests and "Neve" so that you'll get Elek's scene as long as you've saved Viper. My current playtests--admittedly with artificially changing some of the quest flags to limit replays-all seem to work appropriately now?
Do you have a solution for this by chance? Im at the beginning of the end and I cant get Neve's veilguard skill/armor to trigger without the save viper quest but i dont know which flags to trigger in the DAVE editor.
The Neve-Elek scene where Neve gets her heroic stuff (if you didn't save Minrathous) is called "Nev_2_3_410_heroic_rewards_QST"--setting the quest (the RDA) to "Eligible" worked for me! I don't know if you COULD still trigger the "save the viper" quest in act 2, but it's called "QST_BDR_ExecutedShadowDragons_03_Temple", if you want to try?
I seriously cannot thank you enough, my rook is a Crow so she would obviously pick Treviso but I hated destroying Minrathous and missing on so much stuff

I heard there was a quest that Neve forms a "detective club"..?? Not sure what they meant, I'm guessing it's a rough description of a quest happening later, but they did say it will not happen if Minrathous is destroyed
Hmm, I think that could be referring to the fact that if you pick Neve to be an Inspiration, Rana joins her in doing Detective work? Which, if that is the case, then yes! Normally, a Hardened Neve can't become an Inspiration, but she can with this mod :)
One more little glitch I have noticed but forgot to mention. When you are going to "save" Lorelei, since as the vendor she's alive in the Minrathous Saved mod, but in the quest she is supposed to be dead, the game cannot reconcile Lorelei being both dead and alive at the same time. Simply click the mod off before you tp to the southern marketplace wp or before you run there. Go find a battered and broken Lorelei as normal. Once you finish your business in that little alcove, you can go ahead and click the mod back on and be able to interact with a fully recovered Lorelei (Healers do such amazing work in Tevinter!) back at the HQ. If you don't turn it off for finding Lorelei, however, the game will crash on you.
Hello, thank you for the mod. I have a question. Is this mod works in different language? Some of "add codex" mods @ Nexus doesn't work bcoz they are adding non-existed text into the game and they are written in English only. I GUESS this mod is universal (if I understand what you've done correctly), and should working fine in non English based game. But I want to be sure before try this.
