Update 1.1: I managed to increase the horizontal distance of Rook's jumps somewhat. There is still more to figure out, but it is an improvement over the vanilla distance. The change is connected to the jump height, meaning that the 2x jump height version will provide more horizontal distance than the 1.5x version. Hopefully I will be able to figure out how to decouple these two values in the future.

Rook's jump height and distance while sprinting/running is increased. I left their regular/jogging jump unchanged for any situations that require finer movement.
The end of Rook's jump curve is a bit abrupt. I tried to tweak it a little, but with the current limitations of the modding tools, this is as much fiddling as I'm willing to do.

Two versions: 1.5x and 2x. See pictures for a visual comparison.

To install, you will need the latest Frosty release by Joell560.
Joel's release is the most up to date and feature complete version of Frosty. It is recommended that you switch to using Joel's Frosty over wavebend's. It is installed and works exactly the same as wavebend's Frosty, with some extra quality of life features and fewer bugs.

If you bought the game on the EIPC GAMES STORE, download the Datapath Fix Plugin and place it in your Plugins folder within your Frosty folder!

Follow this guide by PinkyDude for step by step instructions on the installation and usage of the mod manager.

If you are having trouble with the modding tools, the best place to ask for help is the Veilguard Modding discord. Start by reading our resources in the Troubleshooting section! Also keep in mind that while we are doing our best to help, Veilguard modding is new territory for everyone, and we are still in the process of learning how it all works (or why it sometimes doesn't and how to fix it.)

If you get an error when trying to import the mod into Frosty, you need to unzip the downloaded archive. There are a variety of tools for this. I can recommend 7-Zip, which is free and open source. With 7-Zip installed, you can simply right click the downloaded file and go to 7-Zip -> Extract Here if you want to extract the mod file into the current folder, or 7-Zip -> Extract Files... if you want to specify a different destination folder.

The Frosty Tool Suite team for the editor and mod manager.
wavebend for the Veilguard fork.
Joell560 for his work within the DAV modding community.
PinkyDude for the Frosty guide.
All the other modders who inspired me to jump into Veilguard modding myself.

Project files are included in the Misc section. Check the Permissions dropdown for details.
