When I use it, in the character screen it looks correct, but in-game, her pack is still there, but her bow is missing.
What kind of torqued me off about it was that I didn't really mind the pack, so I tried to go back to the original file you made with the pack still on it, but since when you made the new file, you named it the exact same name, the old one had been overwritten with this one. So I went back here to get the old one from the previous file section, and you didn't even have it there. This is really sloppy. When you make a new or updated file there is no guarantee it will work like the old one. You should always alter the name of it in some way (Bellara Reborn v2) so this doesn't happen and the old one is still accessible. Now I'm stuck with a file that isn't working correctly.
I used to love this mod. It was one of my favorites. Not anymore.
I think you must be a bit confused because I didn't update my file here at any point, so I'm not sure what you're referring to. The main file is just the retexture and doesn't remove the backpack. You need the backpack remover under Optional Files if you want her backpack gone.
Edit: This could be a mod conflict issue. Are you using a mod to remove her hair pin? It also could be a mod load order issue.
I am not using the pin remover. I actually have her in the ponytail so the pin is fine for me. I had attempted to use your new pink reborn leathers, but there was no bow, so I went back to see. I followed your instructions exactly. There was no conflict before, nor did I add any other new mods from before the time I applied the pink one. When I attempted to return to the old one it no longer worked either, even though it had been fine before the pink attempt. So I renewed the mod in an attempt to restore it to what it was before. None of it is working and Bellara is till quite bowless.
I haven't changed the files in any way, so if it was working for you before, something must have changed on your end. Also, I think you're confused again - that pink reborn leathers isn't my mod! So maybe that's what's causing the conflict? But yeah my mod hasn't changed, the version that's up here now is the only version that has ever existed or been uploaded. To clarify, are you trying to use this backpack remover with that other recolor? Or are you trying to revert to my recolor without the backpack remover? If you're just trying to use the other mod without the backpack remover, then that has nothing to do with any of my files lol, just uninstall them if you want to use the other recolor as-is. If you're trying to use that other recolor with my backpack remover, make sure the backpack remover is below the other mod in the load order. And if you're just trying to use my recolor without the backpack remover, then only install the main file (and uncheck the backpack remover from your load order) and make sure it's at the bottom of your load order (or at least, below any other mod you have that touches Bellara's armor).
Edited to add that I'd really appreciate it if you check your tone a bit, you're coming in here being pretty aggro about an issue that likely has nothing to do with my mod and I'm helping you troubleshoot it anyway. I know it's very frustrating when mods don't work or stop working but please remember I'm a human person doing this for free and for fun. :)
No I wasn't trying to use them on top of each other, I was simply trying to trade them out. I did think they were both done by you, but that really doesn't explain why your mod isn't working when I went back to it.
As for checking my tone....there is nothing aggro about what I'm doing or saying. I'm simply not wasting my time puffing up. I expressed neutrally that there was an issue that caused me frustration. I could relate to your statement if I had attacked, accused of put you down directly or even attacked your mod. I did neither. I merely mentioned that the renaming of mods to the exact same mod is a sloppy practice. Yes, I stated an emotion I felt, but I did not at anytime actually express that emotion toward you. I stand by what I said. I thank you for the help/information, but I do not apologize for what I said, since they were honest statements. Nor do I feel I should pander to others so they can feel they got sufficient kudos to deal with the issue.
I thank you for the help you have given and the information provided. It seems attempting to use the Pink Bellara Leathers has, in fact, ruined both mods for me. It is what it is, and the simple response is to move to a different mod or no mod. I appreciate you responding to me to help clarify the issue.
Would you be willing to share your project files for this? I really love this color palette would love to see if I can remove the crown and pin and gauntlet. Totally understand if you would rather not, however.
I don't think my project file would help with that since this is just a retexture! To remove parts of the mesh, you would have to edit the ebx which is a somewhat different thing.
This mod removes the parts you're talking about and they've included the project file so you can maybe take a look and see how they did it. If you make a mod that removes those parts and load my mod after it, the recolor should still show up. Good luck!
Thanks! That mod is the one I tried to use and it looks like they removed the crown and pin and gauntlet by cutting out those parts of the BCLR files. Running that mod and then yours immediately after restores them. I think because your edit includes those parts still. I could be wrong; I'm still trying to piece together how it works, but that's what it looks like so far.
I think the description of the mod linked describes the method for removing the crown and pin as a texture edit, which is why using this mod after that one will restore the objects. This mod, however, has a crownless option with some darker colors (if you don't mind small Inquisition insignia) and I am using them both without issue (the bundle used is the same, so I only had to add the one to my personal library).
yeah this is excellent palette. Bioware should learn from you about taste. i also like your Neve's Darker Armor mod. looking forward to seeing more of yer work.
This is how the armor is suppose to look! I don't know what the game is trying with all the awful colors in all the armors. Thank you for fixing this one!
yeah it's crazy to me that THREE separate characters all have bright teal as a primary color in their outfits (Neve, Taash, and Bellara)!!! like that's a bold accent color for ONE character much less a recurring theme in almost half the companions!
If you're looking for more de-tealing, I also highly recommend this mod made by my friend for Taash that's in basically the same palette I've been using for my recolors!

Is there any way to remove the crown?
