Although my mods were created and designed for DAI Mod Manager, they can all be imported and used by Frosty EXCEPT for the configurable ones. Unfortunately Frosty does not support configurable mods and is unlikely to do so anytime soon.
Mod manager says this mod is not compatible with my patch.
My mods were created with various versions of the modding tools and with various game patches up to and including patch 11 (internal version number 12). If you synchronise your game with Origin you will not get this error message. The game is pretty cheap now so please consider buying it.
I'm getting infinite loading on returning to Skyhold/fast travelling.
This is a known issue with some texture/mesh replacer mods. None of my mods fall into that category. The usual culprits are companion mods/cosmetic changes or texture replacers. The only way to track the issue is to remove those mods and add them back in individually. Check the comments section on all mods before you download them.
Do your mods work with Trespasser/JoH/The Descent/Black Emporium?
As far as I can tell all of my mods work in all of the DLC apart from the "investigate the bodies" scene in The Descent when all mods have to be disabled. Do that by incrementing the patch number in package.mft by 1 (usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update\Patch) then downgrading it again when you're past that scene. All hex edit mods, as opposed to texture and mesh replacer mods, will work fine in the DLC. The other option is to use Frosty and import your Daimods or use both mod managers. You can find tutorials for this on the DAI Modding Discord.
Do you take requests?
Usually no, I don't have the time, but if it's an addition or a natural extension to one of my existing mods then I'll consider it.
I'm getting a error message from Mod Manager - something about zlib/mscorlib/blah blah
There are many things that can cause Mod Manager to crash and refuse to build a patch for you. Sometimes just reinstalling it can fix the problem. Sometimes you're trying to install an old mod that's not compatible with the latest game patch. Check out the troubleshooting guides on the DAI Modding Discord.
I'm still having problems getting your mod to work.
You can post a comment here, but I have made a lot of mods and don't always have the time to provide support. First try this troubleshooting guide DAI Modder Central on tumblr. If that doesn't solve your problem, then try the DAI Modding Discord server: https://discord.gg/wzJG7Mq
Update v1.4 24/10/2015 - more irritating dialogue removed (see main description) and a couple of bugfixes.
Update v1.3 27/09/2015 - see main description for full details.
Update v1.2 23/9/2015 - Lysette and the templar in Haven will now have their conversation "See reason Lysette, we can't stay here..." only once. - Combined file only.
There is legit nothing I have hated more than the requisition officer cutting off conversations between the party just to say she has nothing to say. Wish I found this sooner its going to be a godsend
Thank you soooo much for removing Solas' stupid immersion-breaking comment "I believe I sense one of the artifacts of my people." When I'm an elven/dalish inquisitor. It's "our" people not "my"!! Atleast I feel like he's talking to the PC, not to the whole party without addressing anyone specific. If you're an elven mage yourself, it makes it all the more ridiculous
well actually he doesn't consider Dalish his people at all it's blatantly stated in the games. all ancient elvhen see Dalish as just shems. so it's canon :)
I read that you don't generally take requests except the possible natural extension of the mod. With that in mind would you ever consider doing a removal/shutting up the chant speakers in Haven? Them more than anyone drive me up the wall especially since they often repeat as you're running about.
this is perhaps the most essential mod for the game in existence. I just found it after rage quitting over having my party banter cut off with "NoThInG tO RePOrT SeR" for the 100th time
i hate the requisition officer. i despise the requisition officer. trying to get banter to trigger at the party station and "NOTHING TO REPORT SER" and like....then don't bother me!! shut up!!
Are you using this with Frosty? I need the requisition officer to stop interrupting party dialogue, which I have to "trigger" for the mod More Banter to work.
I have tried so hard to make this mod work in my game. i've re-downloaded DAI Mod Manager, i've even re-installed the game itself, but whatever I do, the damn requisition officer accosts me ("nothing to report, ser") first thing, soon as i open up my game. how is this working for anyone else? I'm at the end of my rope here trying to figure this out, at this point wondering if I'm really supposed to change the number in the package.mft file to Version 11 like the mod manager claims, even though every other mod I download, including the one other part of this one that I've downloaded, requires Version 12 or 13?
Do you get any error messages when you merge your mods? Mods that require an older patch number than the one in package.mft wont cause any problems unless they are _really_ old, which none of these are. As long as the patch number in package.mft is higher than the mod requires, you are fine.
Another possibility is that you are using another mod that affects dialogue.
Yet another possibility is that there are old merged files lying around in your installation folder that are overriding your new mod files (these would not be removed by a reinstallation unless you manually removed your DAI folder. Check for any Patch_ModManagerMerge folders in the Dragon Age Inquisition > Update folder and remove them before doing a fresh restart of Mod Manager and a merge. This is especially likely to be a problem if you've ever tweaked the version number in package.mft to get save files/old patches/mods to work.
Thank you so much for this mod! Unfortunately, I'm having the same issue as astrophysicallyoutofshape. Cleaned out the previous merge, merged fresh using DAI Mod Manager v0.59. Game is patch 12, merge package shows as patch 13. All other mods seem to work. But the damn requisition officer with her "nothing to report, ser" is so annoying especially when she interrupts companion banter.

Just downloaded it today. For me the requisition officer dialogue only happened once. The officer still have her dialogue after I first installed the mod. I did a quick save after that and load back, travelled to other camps and maps trying to see if the mod works. And it works. She no longer bothers me again.
Thank you! <3 I'm so sick of having the requisition officer always cuts off my companions when they are about to start a conversation. "Nothing to report, sir!" :@
How was this way of having NPC dialogues initiated without actually initiating it, ever a good idea? Like how someone will initiate a dialogue with you while you're running past, and then you go back and talk to them, but since you "exited" the dialogue when you went past, you've now missed that part of the dialogue and can't "use" it unless you reload a save prior to being accosted by the NPC. /sigh

He's got the same "You And I Are Not The Same" energy as Bull if you play Qunari, tbh.
