I liked this mod, but it seems I can no longer use it. Without DAI Manager being around, it seems like frosty cannot handle installing this mod for me.
Oh my goodness this looks gorgeous (I'm doing game prep so I haven't seen him in my game yet but your screenshots alone are amazing). I happened to scroll down a bit and see that you were the same person that did quite possibly my favorite DA2 mod- Big Bad Fenris. I was like oh man, no wonder it's incredible. They're just good at this. Thank you so much for everything you do. You don't get enough appreciation also this is my first comment ever on this site which means that you were cool enough to make me want to say something (to be honest I'm a bit of a granny when it comes to new things so the site scared me a bit if I'm being honest)
Ahhhh, I love all your retextures SO MUCH. They just bring out the best in the characters' features -- they're still totally recognizable, but just that little bit better. It's the difference between good and great.
Can I ask -- any chance of you remaking them with the new Frosty tools?
I'm new to modding DAI, so I'm not sure if I am installing it wrong or what, because when I talk to Cullen in the yard outside Haven, it doesn't look like anything has changed. I'm using the trespasser optimized version, since I have that DLC. Or am I supposed to use the main one first, then swap to the trespasser one when I get to that part of the game??
I realize this is quite late, but hopefully it will be able to help you and others; I found this on the description for elvici's mod Solas of Secrets: ( http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/679/? )
"When you decide to run Trespasser, just switch out your nice, matte Solas for his Shiny, Happy counterpart. For use in DLC-related emergencies only."
So you were right in thinking that you use the main version of the file before getting to Trespasser, and then swap to the Trespasser version once you're playing that part of the game.
Damn, even with the new shiny version I can't get it to work with Trespasser. The game loads just fine, but the mod doesn't show up - same with all the other companion face mods I was using. Having to headcanon that two years have passed and they all look a bit different now...
