Redcliffe Crafting Supply

14/10/2015: Under new management. Sadly borglet no longer has the time to maintain this mod so I've taken it on. Please see the sticky post in the comments for more information.

This mod adds various Tier 3 and 4 base game crafting materials to a shop in Redcliffe Village. I've made a few adjustments to borglet's original layout so that it works well with my other Redcliffe store: Redcliffe Supply - DLC Edition. This one does not require any DLC and I've tried to ensure that anyone who doesn't have the DLC can still have most of their basic crafting needs met by this mod and then some.

The store currently sells the following stock:
  • Metals: Stormheart, nevarrite, volcanic aurum, everite, silverite, dawnstone, and dragon bone.
  • Cloth: Royale sea silk, imperial vestment, dales loden, plush fustian, kings willow, infused vyrantium, and dragon webbing.
  • Leather: Wyvern, great bear, hardened gurn, snoufleur, lurker scales, craggy skin, and dragon scales.
  • Rune Crafting: Pure spirit, fire, frost, lightning, dragon blood, red lyrium. Wyvern glands. Revenant heart.

In addition it includes the following masterwork materials:
  • Stormheart - 10% shield bash.
  • Wyvern - 10% fear.
  • Snoufleur - 1% heal on hit.
  • Silverite - 5 guard.
  • Silverite - chain lightning.
  • Sea silk - fade cloak.
  • Nevarrite - Pull of the Abyss.
  • Kings Willow - +30 to magic on kill.
  • Imperial Vestment - Walking bomb.
  • Gurn hide - +30% damage if not being hit.
  • Gurn hide - immolate.
  • Craggy Skin - veil strike.

Others such as horn of valor, 75% movement speed in stealth, +50 to stamina on kill, and FT honeycomb I have added to my other Redcliffe store along with the herbs and Jaws of Hakkon crafting materials.

The Important Stuff

The Redcliffe store now comes in three varieties. Please choose and install only ONE:

  • Normal Prices - The shop buys your items at vanilla rates (15%) and sells at vanilla rates (100%).
  • Discount Prices - The shop pays you 25% for your items (vanilla 15%) and charges you 25% (vanilla 100%).
  • Free/Zero Prices - The shop pays 250% for your items and charges nothing.

If you wish to use this as a convenience, rather than as a cheat mod, then you can always use the standard or discount version and follow the Black Emporium levelling schedule (tier 3 - level 12, tier 4 - level 16).

The Crestwood Store

Borglet has added a store that replaces the kiosk in Crestwood village. You will need to have completed the Crestwood quest (i.e. drained the lake and closed the large fade rift) in order to access it. That makes this a very useful first destination after reaching Skyhold since the store stocks much of the useful stuff you'll need for your specialisations: Nevarran Skulls, Assassin Knives, etc. It also has some requisition knick-knacks such as Ferelden locks, dwarven vases and many other non-quest items.
