I really like what this mod does, I tried the Frosty Camera Mod Centered (Vanilla style) version but the camera doesn't seem to be centered, any way to change it?
I'll try fixing it this week but if you can't wait here's how to do it.
You would need to install the Frosty editor program and then edit the values this mod modifies, When you open the program and select the game (just like with frosty manager you'll have to wait a few minutes the first time you open it) you'll see on the left a panel that has various folders (double click a folder to see more folders inside)
you'll have to go to "DA3/DesignContent/Cameras/Exploration/Basic/Rigs" select the rigs folders and in the panel below you'll see all the contents of that folder, double click on the one file that says SPxplore_RigB, and in the panel on the center (the one called properties) youll see a row that say Controllers, double click to open it and inside there will be three other rows one that says [0] on the left and ThirdPersonCameraController on the right doubleclick to open it and inside there will be a part that says offset and below BoomOffset, where you'll see some values with the symbols "X Y Z" those are the values of the camera offset.
I'm still not too sure the difference between Offset and BoomOffset, but I remember tha modifying X and Z in BoomOffset and Y in Offset worked better. 'X' would be the values that define how far to the left or right the camera is, 'Y' how far up or down is and 'z' how far away or close is, so in your case you'll focus on the X value, 0 is centered so iirc you need a positive number to move your character to the right and a negative one to move them to the left.
Once you try with certain values to see the results click on launch like you would with frosty mod manager, It will open the game with the modifications that you did, you'll have to fiddle with the values until you find the ones you like, (that means constantly opening the game and closing it, very annoying lmao). Once you are done, go to the file menu, you can save the project if you like, then click on export to mod, save and add that mod into frosty mod manager.
to make it more easy I'll leave a link to the project file of this mod so you can download it, open it in frosty editor, once you open it you can check the box that says show only modified, and then follow the steps above to find SPxplore_RigB.

Thanks for your mod! I wonder when would you make compatibility for No Combat Camera Zoom Out. Besides, would you add one option with more overshoulder angle for widescreen.
To get the camera combat to have the same levels of zoom as the out of combat camera has been more complicated than I expected and I haven't had too much free time lately but it's still definitely something I'll do.
As for the over the shoulder angle it's definitely something I can do quick. Do you want the camera to show the character more to the left only or do you want to have the character more close to the camera too?
Just give it some time! I played it at launch and just.. wasn't feeling it at all. Tried getting into it again in December when I was really bored and it clicked with me then.
Glad you liked that option c: In case you're interested in checking it out I released another version with even less zoom and I think is much closer to the demo.
I haven't tried the mod yet but I really like this mod page! It's well structured & informative & the installation instructions are very nice. I also like when mod authors explain the reasoning behind why they created the mod.
Thank you! some of my favorite games to mod are bethesda games (fallout, elder scrolls) and most of the mod pages of those games here on the nexus are always so informative that makes me want to try those mods even more and I feel it makes life easier when installing mods.
