"I was shocked that a mod like this didn't already exist" Well, you might need a "That's it, Imma use some cheat mod for more powaahh" thinking There's one already made, but it might be discovered if you look for other "cheat mods" since the page says "cheat emporium"
Ah, that one didn't come up when I did a search for 'shard' or 'ocularum'/'oculara'. I guess Nexus doesn't include the description in the search! I'm aiming more for a rebalance than a cheat; the time vs. reward for the whole Solasan quest line just seems really off to me - especially on multiple playthroughs. And some of the shards are in such weird places!
Maybe this mod doesn't work if you already mid-game or what, but I spent several hours trying and failing to get this to properly work. It doesn't seem to have any effect on the shard count for either the areas or the Solasan temple. I own the game on Steam, but it always forces the EA App to be part of the process, so I don't know if having two apps dealing with Inquisition is causing the mods to not apply or what, but I know all my daimod mods work fine. Is there any chance the creator would be willing to make an EBX/BIN available of the simplest option (Solasan temple shards only) so that I or someone else could convert it to a daimod format?
THE essential mod. Thank you so much!! (+ for anyone who's wondering, I installed this with No More Fog of War (+Unlock map pins addon) and both working perfectly, and I put NMFW above of this mod in my LO, no problem.)
There doesn't seem to be a lot of support from the author here, but for anyone else experiencing issues, this mod seems to interfere with many mods that change the map and inventory size. This completely breaks No More Fog of War, and is incompatible with collectible map pins and any mod that increases inventory size. It works just fine with Unlocked Map Pins though, so that might be a solution if you want this over No More Fog of War.
Yeah, I can confirm that it interferes with mods that increases he inventory size. Which is sad, because this and inventory increase are seriously a must at this point.
It is a must have mod, it works for me. However, if you install it in an ongoing game it can mess up things. Those shards eg. already were marked, but haven't picked up yet, disappeared. Thanks for the mod, anyway!
I don't seem to be able to get it to work. I have now diabled all other mods, but it still telling me 5/22 shards in the Hinterland :(
Update I am using the EA app and that seems to reuire FrostyFix (https://github.com/Dyvinia/FrostyFix). This is leading to new and different issues at the mo, but I am sure these can be resolved :)

1. GET ALL THE SHARDS WITH THE MOD ENABLED
2. USE THEM UP AND OR DISABLE THE MOD
3. LOAD BACK IN AND GET FIVE MORE
4. YOU ARE DONE ENJOY
Edit: I got them all then used them up till I had two doors left then followed these steps, worked like a charm
