These mod files change the available skill trees for each companion.
Only one file should be activated in Dragon Age Inquisition per companion. If multiple files are used for the same companion, the last one will be the active one.
The Recommended ones should be the better/more viable ones, but depending on preferences some of the SpinOffs may be more interesting.
The new Skill Trees are only available when outside Haven/Skyhold. Inside Haven/Skyhold the old ones will be available. Both versions can be used, as this will theoretically give access to more than 5 Skill Trees for each companion. Once skill points are invested in skills, these skills are available regardless of the skill trees that can be seen.
None of these mods are for the Inquisitor, but plenty should be available in the original Nexus Mod mentioned above.
None of these mods were created with balance in mind. The purpose was to overspecialize the companions.
Please be aware that some skill trees that are transferred between classes may malfunction (e.g. Solas will sometimes remain slow when using Lightning Flask instead of gaining the excessive attack speed).
Also please note that the skill trees have not been individually altered (skills inside the trees should be the same as without any of these mods).
The Main Files section contains an archive with all the files, and Optional Files section contains each mod file individually.
Files format is .daimod, but they should work with Frosty.

Blackwall - The Indomitable
This mod hopes to add even more beefiness and crowd control on BlackWall. The Sword and Shield was replaced with Necromancer (more passive healing and the possibility to auto-revive after death). The Two Handed was replaced with the Tempest (The Frost Flask gives damage resistance and taunt and freeze). The Battlemaster was replaced with Knight Enchanter (more barrier sustainability, damage return, more crowd control, and more invulnerability).
Cassandra - Champion of the Just
This mod hopes to make Cassandra the best team leader in the game by adding more skills that affect the whole team. Sword and Shield replaced with Artificier (some of the skills either affect the whole team or rely on the team's effectiveness). Vanguard was replaced with Spirit (the barrier). Two Handed was replaced with Knight Enchanter (more team crowd control, and the extra beefiness should compensate for the newly obtained squishy-ness). The remaining BattleMaster and Templar should already do well for team enhancement.
Cole - Fade Justiciar
This mode hopes to make Cole into a very beefy dagger wielder. Archery was replaced with Knight Enchanter (more crowd control and beefiness). Sabotage was replaced with Storm (constant damage all around and some constant crowd control). Subterfuge was replaced with tempest (more beefiness, more crowd control, more attack damage and more attack speed). Dual Daggers was replaced with Reaver (more attack damage, fear and life steal to replace Sabotage). The remaining Assassin is already helping with Damage. Sabotage and/or Dual Daggers can still be accessed in Haven/Skyhold if needed.
Dorian - The Tevinter Paladin
This mod hopes to make Dorian extra beefy. Dorian was extra squishy, so this was made as an extreme counter. Recommended for melee mage. Inferno was replaced with Knight Enchanter (beefiness and crowd control). Storm with Champion (extra beefiness). Necromancer offers sustainability. Spirit and Winter work well together and offer extra beefiness.
Ironbull - The Doombringer
This mod hopes to make Ironbull focused on fear. Weapon and Shield was replaced with Sabotage (not much in terms of fear but plenty of AoE damage and some life steal; also kinda fits with the theme). Two Handed was replaced with Necromancer (helps a lot with fear and sustainability; also some fake auto-revival). Vanguard was replaced with Inferno (a lot of fear and AoE damage). The remaining Battlemaster and Reaver also have quite a bit of fear. A lot beefiness is lost with this build, but pretty much all the life steal in the game is obtained. May also be called a Vampire build.
Sera - The Apocalypse Archer
Focused on the Archery ability damage, but with more boom boom. Replaced Double Daggers with Inferno (the extra boom). Replaced Sabotage with Reaver (extra attack damage and fear). Replaced Subterfuge with Assassin (extra attack damage). Tempest was already present (extra attack damage and speed).
Solas - Fen'Harel
This mod hopes to make Solas an attack speed expert mage. Rift Mage was replaced with Reaver (a lot of atack damage along with some fear and life steal).
Inferno was replaced with Tempest (plenty of attack speed and attack damage). Storm helps with constant damage. Spirit and Winter was left to keep the typical mage build still viable (with barrier and crowd control).
Varric - The Besieger
This mod hopes to make Varric a traps expert. Subterfuge was replaced with Inferno (for fire traps). Dual Daggers was replaced with Winter (for ice traps). Sabotgage and Artificier already do well with traps. And Archery seems to have been made for Varric (i.e. inside game files the Archery skill tree is called the Bianca skill tree :) ).
Vivienne - The Iron Lady
This mod hopes to make Vivienne make use of force and fear. Spirit was replaced with Reaver (spirit damage, some fear and some life steal). Storm was replaced with Necromancer (fear and sustainability) . Knight Enchanter was replaced with Rift Mage (plenty of force magic). Winter and Inferno also play well with force and crowd control.
SpinOffs(these are less practical but perhaps more interesting in some ways):
Blackwall - The Chevalier
Focused heavily on mobility when trying to reach targets. The Weapon and Shield was replaced with Winter (for the teleport), Two Handed with Sabotage (for the hook), Champion with the Knight Enchanter (for the Fade Cloak).
Cassandra - Seeker Commander
Similar to Champion of the Just, except instead of Knight Enchanter there is now Sabotage (for maximum team protection with the evasion charges).
Cole - Fade Knight
Similar to the Fade Justiciar except instead of Assassin there is now the Champion tree (for intense beefiness).
Dorian - Mortalitasi Knight
Compared to normal mage build, the Spirit is replaced with Sabotage and Storm is replaced with Vanguard (for a dread knight-ish likeness).
Dorian - The Elementalist
Focused on elemental skills. Spirit was replaced with Tempest (gives extra frost, fire and lightning elements skills). Necromancer was replaced with Rift Mage (gives stone and force elements skills). Remaining mage skill trees already focus on frost, fire and light elements.
Ironbull - The Juggernaut
This one might actually be viable. Focused on attack damage. Vanguard is replaced with Storm (for near constant damage and crowd control). Battlemaster is replaced with Tempest (for attack damage, attack speed and beefiness). Weapon and Shield replaced with Assassin (for the attack damage). No inherent ability to obtain guard left (defense sacrificed for more damage).
Sera - The Unbound
This mod hopes to make Sera focused evasion and sleep. Tempest was replaced with Assassin (plenty of damage and sleep; also works well with Subterfuge). Archery was replaced with Winter (has teleport and plenty of crowd control). Dual Daggers was replaced with Knight Enchanter (plenty of beefiness and crowd control, but also some invulnerability). Subterfuge helps with stealth and sleep. Sabotage helps with evasion and crowd control.
Solas - The Dread Wolf
Similar to Fen'Harel build but Spirit is replaced with Necromancer (less protection but more fear).
Solas - The Lightning Emperor
Compared to normal mage skill tree composition, Inferno was replaced with Tempest (for damage, attack speed and beefiness). Rift Mage was replaced with Knight Enchanter. End result is a very beefy mage focused on attack speed.
Solas - The Old god
Intention was to focus on different forms of revival and magical protection. Storm was replaced with Inquisitor skill tree (for the Aegis and rift skills). Inferno was replaced with Knight Enchanter (for the protection and revival). Winter was replaced with Necromancer (for the death cheats).
Varric - The Storm Sniper
Focused on archery but with attack speed and lightning strikes. Double Daggers replaced with Storm (for the lightning part). Sabotage replaced with Battlemaster (for the passive skills). Subterfuge replaced with Assassin (for the attack damage). Artificier replaced with Tempest (for the attack speed, damage and lightning).
Vivienne - The Iron Maiden
Mage version of team enhancements, but a scarier touch (was initially supposed to be the age of wonders elven iron maiden but ended being more like the real life version of the iron maiden).Storm was replaced with Battlemaster (for the team guard and attributes). Knight Enchanter was replaced with Sabotage (for the evasion charges).
