Rework skills that trivialise the gameplay. Best for Nightmare trials run, works for other difficulties as well.
Fortifying Blast (Horn of valor upgrade) : Reduces Guard gain from 10% to 3% per hit
The original value is way too overpowered and inconsistent with the overall design philosophy. Pretty much everything else that grant Guard requires you to perform certain moves (counterattack, shieldwall) or being risky (taunts) or consume limited resources(Rally). In short, gaining guard should be difficult and/or tactical rather than handed to you for free. Thus, Nerf it from 10% to 3% should be enough to keep its competitiveness and not letting it overshadow other defensive skills.
Combat roll : Increases cooldown from 2s to 12s, stamina cost from 20 to 35
Original combat roll is relatively broken with either of its upgrades. With the Roll with it upgrade you pretty much immune to any kind of CC and can close gaps immediately. With the Coming Through upgrade. It tips the balance of your overall damage output way too much for just one skill point. With this tweak, you have to choose tactically when and where to roll rather than just spamming the hotkey and make the rest of the game boring ah.
Dragon-Rage(Reaver) : Increase health cost from 2% to 8% per hit
Make it a nice addition to your burst rotation, no more smashing one button kills everything. The increasing health drains not just serve as an obstacle but also opens up a way to reach maximum damage potential much faster, which provides more synergies to the reaver build. Also, it makes the second upgrade Leashed Fury a bit more viable, which was significantly underpowered compared to the first upgrade Ravage.
* Make sure to load this tweak after Bugs Be Gone if you have that mod installed.
