If this mod isn't working for you (my issue was this during installation: - Warning: systems/plot/plotconfiguration not found for Inventory Capacity), you could try this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/727?tab=files I just installed daimod "Configurable Inventory Capacity" and it worked.
For anyone using this use this method se this mods file and the "Configurable Inventory Capacity" download for the file under it in load order, both are needed in daimm you can configure it to whatever size you want as well. thanks the limited invontory is a slog but you have to deal with it to make reasonable money lol
Simply, nothing happens even though DAI Mod manager says that its enabled; Nothing changes in game. Tried several times again and again. Doesnt work on a save with hardly 2 hours of gameplay, and also not on a new one.
The save editor thing also didn't work, the plot integer flag was not present in my savegame (maybe because that flag is related to having inquisitor perks in regard to inventory?)
Note: this only works if you are actually using the newer version of this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/727
First, use the newer version mod, then, there may be some issues with the version of your game (according to Mod Manager/Frosty) So, to everyone who has a problem with Mod Manager/Frosty claiming this mod is made for a different version; Try the following.
- Go into your DA:I directory, where you find your .exe file (If you dont know where this is, right click on .exe on your desktop and click on 'open file location'). - Go into the Update folder - Go into the Patch folder - Open the Package.mft file with notepad - Change the version text into Version 12
Hope this may help some people in getting this other version to work instead.
For all who have problems, I create a new 7zip with an older Version of Mod Manager and the mod who increase the carry limit to 5000 in one package. Install both (patch + carry mod)
Saves are numbered like, DAISAVEU0(14)86C37EA9 or DAISAVEU0(13)86C37EA9, and so on use the latest.
Using the latest DAI save editor, make the edit from 90 to 4096, When it asks to save, save it as "edit" otherwise it will say failed It's opened in another process when naming the same name, I'm halfway through the game, cut the original save out (keep it as a backup if you choose) and name the edited file to the original name and cut it into your saves, it's easy as that NO more "Inventory full" 😍😍
Download "SavefileTools.rar" here you will find the save editor in here.
Then you can simply follow the manual described in this mod.
I noticed that when i enter number sometimes it tells me that the value is too great.. i closed the editor and took another save file and it worked..
The hexcode we search starts with an C so pressing the C button when you clicked inside the "Plot Integer Flags" will scroll through every entry starting with an C.
systems/plot/plotconfiguration is the file it replaces.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think "not found" means the file is not in memory... or not as expected.
Is the daimod file corrupt? This can happen if you edit the default value and the editor you use doesn't save in the correct format. Notepad++ is a solid choice of editors.
I know this is an old mod so no one will probably see this but when trying to merge I get "Warning: systems/plot/plotconfiguration not found for inventory capacity" and when I go into the game the capacity is still 60. Does anyone know what this means/ know how to fix it? I haven't gotten the inquisition perk for increased capacity so it can't be that. Any help appreciated!
I still play this game and yes I see this post. What worked for me is I used FrostyModManager to use the inventory mod and it works.
Look at this video on how to use Daimod and FrostyMod simultaneously :- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwffeKFUnTs
Notes;
You're gonna always have to launch the game via Frosty for it to work
To install/uninstall/reconfigure any mods after you use this method, you're gonna have to remove all mods from the Applied modlist in Frosty, launch the game via Frosty at least once after that and exit, revert the name changes made to the folders, and then re-merge any mods changes that you want in DAIModManager, and then repeat the whole process shown in the video
Good luck using FrostyModManager with a pirated copy of the game because it'll never work
Thanks for the link man. I hate having to use multiple launchers, managers, etc for a game, but hate meaningless inventory restrictions even more. So this is the lesser of two evils.
How about no evil at all? I found that a 10 minute routine of renaming folders, launching and relaunching the game just so that I could change my mods are too much of a hassle, just grab the perk upgrade file from this mod, it bumps 15 extra slots to 200, making the perk at least valuable to obtain.

Has the latest Bioware official patch broken this amazing mod?

And no need to use constantly renaming folders anymore bcs Frosty is no longer necessary in my case
