    I don't think the person who made this mod is active to answer questions anymore, so for the folks who aren't sure what to do with this file - if you're using DAIMM, the whole folder for this mod is the mod. When you extract the archive, treat the Invisible Starting Armor folder that contains Data and package.mft as if it were a .daimod, basically, and put the whole thing into whatever folder you've pointed DAIMM at to look for mods.

    As far as I know this mod type can't be used with Frosty, but CaffeinePainter has a file in one of their mods that does the same thing as this one.

    I unzipped this file and the Data folder is inside my Mods folder now but the mod is not visible in the mod manager and it doesn't work in game. So I am not sure what to do. Help, please T_T

    Is it possible to install this if you don't have the DAI Mod Manager? I am only using Frosty, so I have no idea what the "main mod" folder is. I have a folder that I put all the mods I'm using but I have to import them manually into Frosty, it doesn't just read a folder on its own.

    Heya so I have it downloaded, but I'm not sure I understand by what everyone means by putting the whole thing in the main mod folder? Is the main mod folder where all of my .daimod files are at? And how do you merge the file if there is no .daimod file for it? Sorry, this probably sounds so stupid, but I'm just so confused.

    **edited to add that I have the DAI Tools Suite loader since the DAI Mod Manager was hidden by the OP**

      whatever folder you have that you have been putting all your .daimods into.... you just drop this whole mod into.
      THIS PART IS IMPORTANT; do not put this mod into another folder. As in don't make a folder named 'start gear removal' and then add this mod into that folder. Won't work, the mod manager will not go 2 folders deep to find a mod.
      So YOUR folder where you have YOUR mods(none of us know where you are dumping this) mine is called 'THEMODS' is where you are dropping this. Within this mods zipped file you will find a folder... just drag and drop it into YOUR mod folder. What it needs to look like is this;
      YOUR MOD FOLDER ->Transparent Starting Gear (this whole mod) -> Data & package.mft(if these are a single folder deeper you are not going to have the mod work).
      It merges just like all the daimod files.

      download from nexus to computer---->Rrar-unzip to a new folder (it will contain 2 items...leave them be)-----> grab, move, and drop the whole folder into "current mods" folder (or what ever partition name your DAI mod folder has)---->open DAI modder ----> merge ET VIOLA!!
      there is an extra step before you can merge again, and after you merge... if you run DAI and Frosty together...but I'm not explaining that.
      I hope this helps a little

    2020 and this is STILL a must have mod <3

    Works beautifully on latest patch, latest mod manager, and is so simple to use.

    Thank you again my friend for such a paramount addition to my game

    Using this with Svarty's Armor Switcher, but I noticed that the default pajamas clip through almost every armor I try to use in place for the starter armor.

    This file along with other files on this website sometimes don't download as like zipped folders, but as like single documents that can't be opened and therefore are not working or even showing up in the manager before I try to merge them. How do I download it as a zipped file/folder?

      Download the free application "7 Zip" and use it to unzip your compressed files. To use 7 Zip once you've downloaded it, right click on whatever mod you downloaded that you want to "unzip", hover over 7 Zip from the drop down menu, click "extract files", then place the unzipped file in your mod folder, run mod manager to install the mod, and enjoy! :)
