The mod has completely changed the impression of Corypheus as a villain, he now looks A LOT scarier and like something truly unearthly than just a big overgrown grandpa with stones on his face.
The only thing that, and I think it's worth mentioning in the description of the mod, the very first cutscene where Corypheus appears (with either Calpernia or Samson) is a prerender that the mod's texture change does not affect, so his design in there will always appear as vanilla, which may lead to the assumption that the mod does not work. It does work and is very easy to install, it just doesn't work at the very first appearance.
is a prerender that the mod's texture change does not affect
Months and months later but thank you for noting this, I'm actually back at this mod page for this very reason (confirming the mod is working as intended and I didn't miss a requirement or note about load order :P)
I really hate Corypheus's vanilla design. Your mod makes me loving it. It's really cool. But idk why it doesn't work when his first intro with Samson/Calpernia. It does work when he first met Inky tho. Are there any other cutscenes that won't work?
If I'm remembering the scene you mentioned right, the one with Corypheus showing up on the mountain with Samson/Calpernia, that's a prerendered cutscene that doesn't use in-game assets, so any edits won't show up. There's only a few prerendered scenes in the game, though, so hopefully it isn't too immersion breaking. And thank you for the kind words, friend. <3
I have an idea to use this after his "resurrection" to be less immersion-breaking. But your mod is too awesome to not be used as soon as possible, especially in his badass intro scene. *endorsed&voted*
i just think that too much exposure to red lyrium caused the sudden change of appearance from some cutscenes, the same goes for the eye mod recommended.
I've been admiring this mod since I started modding my games. I really like it, but I absolutely cannot get it to work. I've tried turning off every mod I have except this one, putting it to the top of the load order, and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?
[totally did not end up here after checking out what other mods you had after falling head over heals for your solas mod]
ended up finding this mod pretty late but thankfully I found it just in time to experience Corypheus in this hauntingly beautiful blue tint during our final fight. I also, per your recommendation, downloaded the black scleras for him and he looked amazing! your mods affect seemingly small cosmetic changes but they have improved my gameplay experience immensely and I cannot thank you enough for that!
side note: I can't believe this is your first mod? that's genuinely baffling to me. it's such a high quality mod (and I could go on about the Solas mod for ages) and I'm so thankful that you wanted to share it with us. great job!
You genuinely struck me speechless, friend. Thank you so much. It's kind of insane to think someone said such beautiful things about *me.* Knowing others have enjoyed my stuff means the world. And yeah! Dmitria's mod really seals the deal and makes Coriffy-fish the ethereal baddie he should be. Really glad I found them so I could share it here.
I cannot make this mod work. I try to load it to Frosty Mod Manager but the manager freezes and closes. When I open it again and try to load the mod again, it says that it is already loaded but I cannot see it on the list in order to apply the mod. Idk what's missing.
Really sorry for the late reply, friend, and for the trouble you seem to be having. I'm not sure what could be causing the issue; I haven't heard of anyone else having it. It could be a conflict with another mod, or that your version of FrostyMod isn't up to date, I'm not sure. Sorry again.
Does this mod not need a [.archive] file to run? Also, do you have any plans of making a [.daimod] version of this mod? I'm genuinely going through the tedious process of running both sets of files just so that I can apply your mod to my game, that's how much I enjoy it.
Hey, friend! Sorry for getting to this so late, but here we go: No, to my knowledge, mods made for newer versions of FrostyMod do not require archive files to run. As for a daimod version, I'm afraid I don't have any plans for one, primarily because I don't know how to use daimod. I am so happy and flattered you like this so much, though. It means a lot to me, thank you.
Oh man, if I could mod I'd try to make his DA2 eyes too. I'd probably still use your mod because he looks so sinister. Like a true villain! The skin tint is also *chef's kiss*

I also miss his eyes from DA2; if I were a more competent modder, I'd fix those too.
