!! 2020-09-18: I've gotten reports that this doesn't work with non-GOTY editions of the game. If you have the same or a different experience, please let me know.
There are four versions: 25%, 50%, 75%, and Scaling. The first three reduce all war table missions to that percentage of the original runtime (which is the time to complete the mission before preferred advisor and number of agents reductions are applied). For example:
The "Gather Coin" mission is set to take 60 minutes by default. This is reduced to 15, 30, and 45 minutes by the 25%, 50%, and 75% versions respectively.
The Scaling version reduces war table times along a relative scale; the longer the original time was, the further it was reduced. Ex: 24 hour missions were reduced to 6 hours, while everything under 30 minutes was left at default value.
Each download will contain separate files for the base game, The Descent, and Jaws of Hakkon*, so you can just choose what you have/want.
Installation:
Frosty: Extract the files from the chosen archive, import into Frosty Mod Manager, and apply the mod(s).
DAIMod: Extract the files from the chosen archive, place it your Mods folder, open the DAI ModManager, and hit merge.
Notes:
- *The Scaling version does not contain a mod for Jaws of Hakkon, since all of its missions are under 30 minutes.
- The Descent mod in the Scaling download says "75%" because my scale reduces 60 minute missions to 75% of the original time, and all of the timed missions in The Descent are 60 minutes. So I decided to just include the 75% version rather than make two identical mods. :P
- No mission was reduced to under five minutes, regardless of version. If you want it to be even shorter, I assume you'll be more interested in one of the "No Waiting/Instant" mods that are out there. XD
I don't know if I'll make a daimod version. I'm more comfortable with FrostyEditor, but I haven't ruled it out entirely yet.- DAIMod versions have been added. :)
