It definitely is! And I always get an urge to replay Trespasser so I wanted to have a definitive save in case the urge happened again.
I don't get why they included that temple if there wasn't going to be any cool lore in there. Instead it was just regular demon fights. Feels like they ran out of time.
I LOVE Dragon Age 2. I think it has the best writing out of all three games - the way the story layers upon itself and builds tension is just masterful. I don't like the textures though. I wish I knew how to change the textures of all the walls/floors. Kirkwall is supposed to be carved from black marble but in game it doesn't look like that at all. (It helps as well that I use a mod to make combat end faster because, as much as I dislike the combat in DAI, DA2 has the worst combat in the series by far).
Thank you so much for this! I'm not so angry, now. I f@#$% hate looking for shards. I think it is one of the few unpleasent points in-game. What else would you take for negative?
I think my biggest issue with the game is that a lot of side quests just start randomly. I especially dislike this one quest in the Hinterlands where you enter this woman's home, she doesn't even say hi, she just says "Templars killed my husband!" and you don't get to ask her any questions or get any background. The NPCs are just really flat.
