Is there a special way this needs to be installed? I am using the Frost Mod Manager, the latest update, and your mod is the only mod I have in but when I leveled up I only got one point. I have it activated in FMM and I am using FMM to launch the game.
Sorry it took so long, I didn't see the reply. So, you have to mess with some things in order to use both DAIMOD and Frosty mods. I stopped making DAIMOD formats awhile ago because DAIMM and tools were abandoned.
Did you properly repatch your game to ensure you can load in both DAIMOD and Frosty formats as I instructed?
Also...you're using both Frosty MM and DAIMM? Because if so, that's probably your issue...DAIMM has been retired for years upon years at this point. Please use Frosty.
Thanks for the great mod! If you don't mind others tweaking things for their personal use, could you help us out with some information? I have figured out how to edit items in Frosty but I haven't found out where I can change what happens during character level up. Where should I look?
I know this is way late, but you don't need my permission (or anyone's) to edit mods for personal use, as long as it stays personal use and doesn't get shared.
Works great. I also tested respecs with Inquisitor, and Varric + Solas -- I got the x2 the ability points via with Tactician's Renewal (I'm also using a free unlimited respec mod by jerrybullet. Thanks for the mod!
Because a lot of the retro mods are made in DAIMOD, which was around before Frosty, and it takes some editing to make DAIMOD and FROSTY work together. Unfortunately, trying to maintain two different mod versions so that people don't have to use the newer format is not on my list of priorities lol.
I wish this worked, but it doesn't. Truth be told, none of the Frosty Mod Manager mods seem to work at all for the Steam version. I've got 0 DAI Mods installed. There seem to be no mentioned conflicts in the Frosty Mod Manager, yet still nothing works. I guess I won't play DA:I then.
I never used Frosty on any Steam game. Still maybe checking some basic things might help you.
Installing mods in Frosty works like this: -Drag the mod onto Frosty, it is now listed on the left hand side -Apply the mod by clicking the button at the bottom of the list, it is now listed on the right hand side under Applied Mods
Running a modded game works like this: -Start the Origin or in your case Steam client -Start the game by pressing Launch in Frosty (anytime there are changes Windows asks for confirmation)
This is great, i'm glad I saw your comment on the other "double point" mod. I dunno why people are having issues but this works fine thus far for me with other skill mods installed.
I had completely forgotten about that comment until I got a notification that someone had replied to it. I got called a fascist for pointing out that the game's programming doesn't suck just because that guy can't figure it out.

mod Managers both but nothing else to interfere with your mod

What platform are you on? Did you use Frosty Mod Manager as instructed properly?
I'm pretty new to DA:I modding but frosty seems to do a pretty decent job so far.
Still maybe checking some basic things might help you.

I hope this helps.
A happy ending: this mod came about.
