Hm! So I ran into a weird issue with Dorian in black and gold.
I originally installed it during the future Redcliffe quest and it made Dorian's entire outfit blacked out, like it just wasn't showing up. Which was sad but happens sometimes, whatever.
Today I remembered it existed again so I decided to give it another try, and lo! It works fine in Haven! (Looks very good, as expected! :D) I loaded my Redcliffe save to see it it was working fine now but nope, now the whole thing looks weird and pixelated, except for the equippable half-robe thingy he's got.
I ran the game with this as the only installed mod and it looked exactly the same in Redcliffe. Frosty isn't giving me a conflicting warning, either.
I went back to my normal number of mods and checked what Dorian looked like in other areas, and it was still pixelated in the Hintherlands, the Storm Coast and Val Royeaux.
I grabbed some screenshots of Redcliffe and the other places: https://imgur.com/a/yiYWuHt .
After I get into Skyhold I'll reinstall the mod and see if it's fine then & put here the answer. (I *really* hope it works then bc, damn, Dorian looks so good in Haven! And he's standing in the shadow too, so I can't even see it properly! :( )

Yep, I made it to Skyhold and it's the same thing. Works fine in Skyhold, in the field the outfit goes weird :/
      Shame :(

I too had issues; it was fine unequipped, freaked out once I put armor over it (including in the inventory screen).

    Hi.

I'm using Frosty (the lateste version) and the vivienne outfit retexture doesn't seem to work well with the crafting station. Everytime I try to craft vivienne armor she just doesn't appear.

I just want to know if i'm the only one with this problem.

Thanks for your hard work! ;)

I just got a chance to test it out and ran into the same problem, and then after attempting to craft armor with her I was then unable to fast-travel out of the undercroft. I've had this issue when using a .daimod texture for her out fit loaded through Frosty as well, but thought it would be fixed with a Frosty mod. Hmm. It seems that there's a chance Vivienne's outfit, like Cassandra's (I tried to convert a Cass outfit mod as well) may be one that just doesn't play nicely with Frosty for now, sadly.

      Thanks for replying

Frosty is a hit and miss, I see...

I've been testing mods for weeks now to try and make a playthrough with only frosty mods and has been challenging to say the least. Some mods work fine in the main game but not in the dlc's, some don't work at all, and texture mods are very glitchy (even in frosty version)!

Oh well, just gonna keep testing.. Maybe, if I'm lucky, I can start a game before Christmas

      Hi!

I started a new game with trying out Frosty mods.
I downloaded the Viv outfit. Did 2 things: Vivienne and Sera didn't really loaded into the crafting station. I removed every Sera related mods, Viv loaded, Sera got a buck teeth lol.
Taking this out made everything back to normal. I love this mod, looks great :) it is unfortunate I cannot use it but oh well :D
Maybe if we start rextexturing from scratch? With Frosty mod maker? I am trying to learn that eventually :D

Can you make SK Dress Mesh Edits works in Trespasser? daimod just not show any changes. Textures are work, but meshes didn't.

Unfortunately I don't have the capability to make mesh ports at the moment. I'd recommend joining the DAI Modding discord server, someone there may already be working on it or could teach you to do it!

hi I'm a huge newb when it comes to installing these things. I don't know what the difference is between DF, EF, HF, and QF in the ballgown retex.

Thank you so much for doing this! I love Skara's mods, and having them in Frosty will make things even better!

if I can figure out how to get Frosty and DAIMM to play nice together

      You're very welcome!

I don't use DAIMM at all anymore now that I have Frosty but I know there are some good tutorials out there. If you have Discord, the DAI Modding Discord server people are awesome (they taught me how to do these conversions in the first place) and can point you in the direction of the best tutorials or maybe even walk you through it! Copy and paste this link to get to the page with the server invite link: https://daimodder.tumblr.com/post/181438994064/new-dai-discord-invite-link

Cheers for the link! I still have a small handful of mods I use DAIMM for, because they're configurable and Frosty doesn't like them much.

Well thank you very much. You must have read my mind as I was wanting to figure out how to convert Skaramoosh's Blackwall mod to Frosty myself since I first began using it. Thanks again.

That complexion was actually the one that started it all for me! Luckily the original hair mesh .daimod works perfectly in Frosty but I was experiencing crashes while playing Jaws of Hakkon with the matching complexion in .daimod format. Once I converted it, it's worked perfectly even in the DLCs! And then I got kind of distracted by taking it upon myself to convert ALL of Skara's textures I couldn't find before lol.

Glad someone else was thinking the same thing!

I appreciate that you are taking upon converting all of her yet unconverted work. I play with her mods in most of my saved games since I started playing in 2017, and now moving on to Frosty this week. I finally got to endorse by the way, thanks again for expanding the horizons of her creations. Frosty is a wonderful too and horizon opener. I am glad that we are on the same page with Blackwall.
