I would like to thank you very much for the resource files!! I'm checking out a bunch of different eye mods and studying their files because I want to make my own but am new to this so it's such a lovely coincidence you even provided explanations along with the texture files especially since I wasn't sure what the point of the diffuse map was - you've saved me a lot of trial and error :)
This is exactly what I was looking for! Now my character has the dark brown eyes I wanted her to have. (and honestly everyone's eyes look better too?) Thank you so much <3
Hi! I realize this is an old comment now, but I haven't been playing the game until a few days ago. That file is still working fine for me and I have patch 12 which isn't even technically supposed to work properly with the mod manager right now so I'm not quite sure why it's not working for you.
Although, you might have solved this issue a really long time ago ^.^;;;
Ah! I love this. I uploaded two photos, which you really have to view in a new tab to really appreciate all the detail. They look fantastic. Great job. Thanks for sharing. (:
It's a shame the effect can't be limited to PCs only, as all the NPCs are looking rather weird now, with seemingly enlarged pupils that make eyes appear black from a distance. It almost looks as if they are all high on something
Yeah, the enlarged pupil look is when the inner color of their eye is set to black - which was grey with vanilla eyes. I figured out how to change the NPC eye colors so I'm gonna go through and edit the Inner Circle's eyes to work with this, but that's going to take a while. I already made Sera's nice and bright, though ^-^
I uploaded a lighter version of the eye textures for Toloc that you might like, but the only way to 100% maintain the original eye colors of NPCs is to go in and individually edit their ebx files.

maybe add a version that's halfway between vanilla and the full effect?
