For those struggling with the mod, complete these steps to get everything in order.
1. Install only the shop, go to the shop and buy the Vitaar for all the characters you want it use it on, if you have a quinary, equip it at this point otherwise you won't be able too without uninstalling the next part of the mod.
2. Install the For all mod bit. After this human, elves and dwarves will be able to equip the Vitaar that you bought and they will retain their higher stats. After you equip them there is no harm in uninstalling the mod and returning the game to normal. Once the Vitaar is equipped to your chars they stay equip with or without the mod active.
Using these methods you will equip all high level Vitaar to all your chars.
Sadly it seems the mod maker left it in a broken state but at the very least we can make the best of it by messing around a little bit.
T-T Is the lowered stats on all vitaars the result of smth im doing wrong? Cause i donno what it is Otherwise this mod is sooo.... Good Its just i cant use it without the stats Help me someone (using frosty btw)
Hey I know it's been a while but for some reason (I think) this mod is making all vitaars only do 5 damage, and it's lowering their stats. Like Crehtal Vitaar only getting 3% attack. Any idea what's going on?
Thank you so much for this amazing mod!! Looks amazing on my human. The only thing is, I can see it in game but the vitaar is not visible in cut scenes. I have "hide helmet" toggled off too. I have the WARPAINTS for all Frosty version, the reposition Frosty mod and the Vitaar Shop Frosty version installed. Am I doing something wrong?
You need to use a cheat engine. Padme has instructions for this inside the mod: Cullns fur mantle for the inquisitor https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/3014?tab=files
I saw below that you are reworking the mod so Im certain that youre already on top of it but just incase you werent aware, all the vitaars render too low on human characters faces.
Ive hidden helmets at this point but the vitaars all render below the cheek bones as a start point.
Perfect idea for a mod, thought Id just let you know.
EDIT: I think I may have lied to you or misunderstood the install directions. I installed the other mods listed on your site to allow followers to wear vitaars and it seems to have fixed the positioning? I think Im just an idiot. Carry on nevermind me. Lol
Im obviously doing something wrong, because I can purchase the vitaars. And I can wear ONE :( I WANT COOL FACE PAINT, HELP PLEASE!!!! I have the shop and the "reposistioned" mod installed, am I missing something?
Yes you missed the main file, WARPAINTS, it's that one which makes you able to wear the warpaints, without it the vanilla warpaints will just be repositioned with my mod. Go ahead and download "WARPAINTS" and you should be good :3
First of all, I want to say I LOVE this mod! It's beautiful and it looks so awesome, so thank you so much for creating this!
I do want to ask though, will there be an option for the repositioning to work with vitaar retexes in the future, or is that impossible? Some of the vanilla vitaars are just... meh, but so far most of the retexed vitaars I've been using are almost entirely on my Inquisitors nose instead of forehead.
Thing is I need permission from the vitaar creators to edit their files and reupload it here. Once I've gotten the thumbs up from them I'll get to it straight away, but until then no, sadly. D:
My personal plan is to make a few vitaar packs, but oh good lord is it tough to create vitaars, you need to keep in mind which channel does what and which colour it'll have in game. It's hard but one day I'll have a few packs to call my own :3
And ofc they will be re-positioned for d/e/h too :3

But even if you don't, you've done spectacular work here!!
