the problem with every mod replacing inquisitor's formal attire is the scene after the left hand is gone, cause the game loads another unique asset for that, which needs to be replaced separately for immersion (that Inquisitor keeps the outfit)
Oh that's right, I tend to forget what happens to the left arm (I've only finished Trespasser once). Sadly I am not very good with 3d editing so I don't think I could make another dress that fits these scenes, sorry.
This is super beautiful! But I'm having an issue where I can't get it to load at all. I have the inquisition finery mod and that one loads but I can't get my inquisitor in the dress - she still shows up in the finery suit. I'm using frosty - do you know if I'm maybe doing something wrong? Am I missing a mod? Any work around you can think of to get my quizzy in her dress?
Thank you :) Ah, yes if you want the Inquisitor to wear an outfit that is different from the regular uniform, you need to use another mod. There is one listed in the description if you want and although it doesn't seem to have a built-in frosty version you should be able to use it anyway (that's what I did). Let me know if it works!
This mod for Frosty works fine, but as soon as I use your other mod (Inquisition Finery - for frosty) with this one, I can't run the DLC Tresspasser anymore. I'm in skyhold right after I defeat Corypheus. I tested the Inquisition Finery mod without this mod and I can run the DLC Tresspasser. So I don't see what the problem is, if anyone knows why I can't use these two mods together let them tell me.
Hello, could you describe what happens exactly when you try to start Trespasser? Also, does it still happen if you don't use any other mod (just the finery, dress retexture and outfit replacer) ?
I just updated the finery retexture for Frosty, could you try with the new version and tell me if it solves your issue? When testing the updated uniform retexture I also used the dress retexture and I was able to start the DLC.
Hey so I really love this mod and used in on a previous quizzie however I want to use a different dress for my current playthrough. I seem to be unable to uninstall it. I've removed it from my mod list in frosty and deleted the files from my mods folder however the dress still shows up using your retexture in game? It's as if it's replaced the original game texture.
When I try to replace it with something else (I've tried multiple different dresses) my game crashes when it tries to load the formal attire in the crafting table
Just for reference this is happening when I try and craft the formal attire in haven using the golden nug at the start of my new playthrough
It's a super weird issue and im wonering if you have an insite.
Hi! Thanks for raising this issue, it seems strange indeed. If you use the Frosty mod manager (with the daimod or the Frosty version) you should only have to remove the mod from the list. Just in case you could also try deleting the patch in the "Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update" folder and repair the game (or restore the original Patch folder if you kept a backup).
I'll take a look and see if I experience the issue as well and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. It's been a while since I last played DAI though so I need to get everything working again, sorry!
Update: I had a look and everything seems fine on my game. I used Frosty Mod Manager (I have version 1.0.5.1) and I only loaded the formal replacement mod (that loads the dress model when using a formal attire) and my retexture. The retexture shows properly in game, and if I disable it then the regular white dress is displayed. I tried this with the daimod and the frosty versions of my mod. Could you give me more information about the software and retexture version you used?
Thank you very much and sorry for the late reply! I have actually converted the mod to Frosty but I want to do some additional testing to make sure it is fully functional. It should be uploaded here in the next few days
This seems strange! All you should need is the formal attire replacement and my retexture. Does the uniform retexture work? What mod are you using for the dress replacement? Also, do you own the Trepasser DLC? You need it for the mod to work because the dress asset was added in it
Beautiful, classic, uncupcake-like gown. Along with your retex of the Inquisition team, it made for the best looking Winter Palace ball ever! Thank you so much.
