Hey so this is my first time using this particular mod and i came across the white screen after the dawn will come, i did what i always do and move the patch mod folder and got through it but when i went back and replaced everything to get my mods back everything but this hair will show up. its really confusing me bc i went to check if the mod just wasn't loading at all but character creation has the hair but my character doesn't, the hair mesh that should be replaced is showing instead.

Hello! Inifinite white screen after The Dawn Will Come is a pretty common issue when certain mods are installed (i can't remember if it's the hair or complexion mods exactly that's causing it though) but I managed to fix it or get past that scene by installing Skippable Skyhold Journey (https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/2007). A small disclaimer though, with more frosty mods being available and used, I have not tried it on that yet as my current playthrough hasn't reached Skyhold yet so I can't guarantee if it works 100%. But when used with just the dai mod manager, it should work. I hope this is helpful!! ^^

Just want to say this hairstyle is adorable and I am very very grateful you told us which hair slot it replaces. There are so many hair mods that don't bother to do that and it takes me an extra 10-15 minutes trying to move mods around so that they're not conflicting and overwritten in the mod manager since apparently five of them are vying to change the same spot. Their file names don't provide any hints either :V

I can't open the rar file. I tried 7zip and winrar and tried downloading the file using different browsers. Don't know why it won't work. Sorry for the bother but could you please post the unarchived daimod?

I think the haircut is really cute. But with the Emporium and Mods it does not work for me. The Emporium always crashes. What am I doing wrong? Can someone tell me? Would be very nice.

    Thank you very much.

Hello! I'm very sorry to hear about that!! The Emporium crashes when appearance changing mods are installed, especially complexions. I don't think there's a permanent workaround for it at the moment. :(

Going vanilla to change the hair to the base hair the mod replaces is the only way I know to access the Emporium and change the hair. This has been a problem since DAI was released, unfortunately. This is the only way that I know of to change your Inquisitor's look in the Emporium:

      1. Move (or copy) the merged folder to desktop (if you copied it to desktop make sure you delete the merge folder from the update folder) so you don't need to re-merge it after using the Emporium.
      2. Go to Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update, and edit the package.mft file by opening it with notepad. Change the version number from 12 to 13 so your save files would load.
      3. Open the Emporium and change your character’s hair/appearance.
      4. Save and exit DAI. (I prefer to go back to Skyhold or another area to save before exiting just to be safe.)
      5. Move back your merged folder to the Update folder. (Path: Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update)
      6. Edit the package.mft file (the one you edited earlier from path: Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update\Patch) again and change back the version number to 12.
      7. That's all! Just reload your character and everything should be fine.

I hope that made sense! Let me know if you run into any issues and I’ll try my best to help. I'll get around to make a visual or video guide for those who prefer to know it that way. ^^

For now, you can check out this (http://daimodder.tumblr.com/post/118572341619/black-emporium-mod-issues) post for more info about Black Emporium issues!

I have found that certain mods that change the eye color do not work in the emporium. The only EYE mods I can use when not playing a Qunari are Those Eyes. SKHAir Retexture, eyebrows 4 women; longest fullest lashes and one tatoo mod. I have tried 3 other Eye mods but cannot remember which ones they were but this is the only one that works for me when i try to enter the emporium. I have also found that when I add a bunch all at the same time to play multiple characters at the same time, like a Qunari and human or elf, the Emporium will not load. So I play 2 at the same time. A rogue and an mage that will use the same complexions. I then merge only these with the hair mods I want then I usually don't have an issue with the Emporium crashing. All the other mods I use and there are a lot these are where I found my issue. Mostly with the tatoo and the eye ones. Hope this helps if you need any further explanation just send me a message. I did it the way nayfever mentioned for a long time until my computer crashed and decided to just add a few mods and just had these in there and it worked. So changed a few around and added a few more and started to get crashes and figured out what was happening. So went back to playing one or maybe two at a time. I get bored easily with just one. You can see Sierra in the picture below. Using Those Eyes and the mods mentioned.

Thank you for the effort. I'm not good at these things. I can open with my PC and no mft files, I've already tried. I'll study the link calmly. Since I do not speak English and Google Translator is not so good, I do not understand a lot. Sorry, because you have worked so hard with the answer. At the moment I leave a lot of time for the character creation, so that I like my character until the end. With Dragon Age 1 you had to. If I have a lot of free time I'll retell the text and then try to understand it for the weird Google translation. Thanks again for the effort.
I hope I have put the answer in the right place. I ask for your understanding that I'm so awkward, I'm Grandmama, so not very well versed in everything.

Just in case you want a simple answer...

      1. Before you go to Black Emporium close the game.
      2. In your mods folder and your mod loader like (Frosty or DAIModManager) take out any mods that change the appearance of your character.
      3. Reload Frosty or DAIModManager, then reload the game and head to the Black Emporium.
      4. Since you took out the mods, you will not see them in Black Emporium, but this allows for it to not crash.
      5. Just make sure you know which sliders, hair, complexions and whatnot, are the ones that are going to be replaced with your new mods.
      6. Change sliders to ones that will be replaced with new mods once added again.
      7. This is the only way to make it work.

      8. After exiting Black Emporium, go anywhere, and save.
      9. Exit game.
      10. Add new mods back into folder and reload (Frosty or DAIModManager).
      11. Load the game again.

      12. You should see all new mods applied.

      I hope this helps.
