Hey friend, I'm sr for asking this late, but do you have any files that trace back to before your character choose to side with the mages or templars? I tried your Phineas Trevelyan saves since I prefer siding with the mages but it doesn't have deluxe content so it's not compatible (While I download the GOTY edition so I have all of those contents)
Also I notice that your saves files doesn't have 2 files called "profileoptions" and "ProfileOption_profile". If you don't mind can you update that too? I'm afraid that's the reason your save files don't work. I test other saves mod and it works just fine, since it has that in the save file.
Hunh. I never even thought about the profile options files. I'm afraid I'm a little ignorant in the modding field. And I do have a file of Camulos before he sided with either templars or mages, I can upload it here, and I'll include the two profile files. Will you please let me know if that works for you? If this is the answer to why so many people have issues, I'd be more than happy to fix it.

But since I'm a completionist and I rl hate doing Western Approach and Exalted Plains run again (Those areas are a pain in the a** to explore, at least with me, it's confusing af), maybe I'll just pick up the post-Skyhold files lol. Siding with templar is not so bad and I can always create my world state on DA keep.

I've just lost my character since the cloud save for this game sucks, and how dumb I am to not make a backup save, it erased all my 90 hours of gameplay. I only got "What pride had wrought" and some tiny side quest left to finish and I lost it all. I was in desperate then I remember we have things like "save files mod". You're literally my savior, keep up the good work!
I try to keep up with replies. It's the least I can do, since I'm not really a mod maker, I'm just an insane completionist with too much time on my hands. 😁
I really hope the save works! Let me know if it does, because I won't hesitate to go back through all of these saves and put those profile files in there, in hopes that it works for more people.
I know you might not be free at the moment but if you can, could you do a siding with mage playthrough? Of course it's ok if you feel too tired and don't wanna, if it's me I would feel insane just to gone through all running and marking and looting again XD This game rl has too much contents just for the sake of filling...

I can't believe it took me this long to even look, but I just realized that my other HM warrior save allied with the mages, if you're still interested. I haven't added the two profile files to it, and I still need to do that, probably with all of these saves, since it worked so well for you. Anyway, just thought I'd mention it.
Did you check your package.mft version #? It needs to be at least 15 for this save. Some folks have had to set the version # to 98 before it works. If this isn't the problem, let me know, and I'll see what I can figure out on my end.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you on this! Do me a favor and try the most recent file I've got on here, the one that is right before the mage-templar choice. On mention of a previous comment, I added my "profileoptions" and "ProfileOption_profile" files to it. Those go in the same folder as the save file does. It will overwrite yours, so make sure you save a back up of them before replacing them with mine. If this fixes the problem, then I'll upload a new version of the complete save with those two files added in, and hopefully that will work. Of course, if it does, I will also take on the task of updating all of my saves with those two files.
Again, I'm sorry that it took me so long to respond, and I'll understand if you've lost your interest in using the file. If you are still interested, I would really appreciate your feedback about it. Thanks for your patience!
Hey, I'm having problems opening the save, it says i'm missing all the add-ons (even black emporium) even though I have them all installed. Already updated the patch version in mod manager, any other suggestions?
I've had a couple of other people have this problem, but I've never figured out how to fix it. I'm assuming that you also have the deluxe dlc's? Flames of the Inquisition and all that? I'm sorry that I don't have a solution for this, but I can offer, as an alternative, the other HM Warrior save that I made, which was made without any of the deluxe content. The only dlc's required are the Black Emporium, Descent, JoH, and Trespasser. You can find it at this link: HM Warrior No Deluxe Content
You can try updating the patch version to 99, but I don't think that's going to help whatever is causing it to tell you that you don't have the add-on stuff. I wish I knew what caused that, so that I could fix it, or at least offer something to try to overcome it. I hope this helps, at least in having a second option that should not have the same problems.
I'm not sure if it works on a save that's already been made or not, but it might help? I can't make promises, because it's a new mod and I haven't tried it myself. It'd be a good idea to back up your Profile Options file and any of your saves before trying it, but it could be worth a shot.?
Aw, dang. I do. It's always something I've considered a side quest. Are you really attached to the human male warrior? 'Cause I maybe could be persuaded to run a playthrough without killing the dragons...I can always do it with this guy. I find rogues and mages easier, but I do enjoy a run with a warrior.
I WOULD BE extremely grateful and be in your debt if you can do this. Because I really want to bring back my previous save, ?t would save me hell a lot of time and effort to be honest.
Just leaving the dragons undone, right? Gimme just a few days, and I think I can make it happen.

edit 2: turns out I have an ear infection. Both ears, actually. Anyway, it's affecting my gameplay. It'll probably be a week before my equilibrium has returned to normal and I can play again, so it'll take a bit longer than I intended, but don't think I've forgotten.

There are lots of folks like me who are just some eco-friendly even in games or want to experience dragon boss fights :D Thereof, sharing this save game comprehensively with the public would be the best for all if you also prefer so. It's a great game, and I have more hours in it than I like to admit, but it's fun so I don't mind doing these saves. My ear infections are clearing up, so it doesn't make me dizzy to play anymore. Shall I run him through with the mages this time? Or do you prefer the templars?

Glad to hear that you are recovering. Well this save worked fine for me. I have GOTY edition with me. I still preffer choosing templars to be honest one last thing though :D be friendly with everyone and please don't initiate any dlcs and just leave the story at the same point as with this save(where we begin kirkwall champion quest) . Other than that and for items , you are free to do anything you want to get them instead kiling dragons :D
I'm always nice to everyone! I take all of the flirt options available in Haven, because it leaves all the choices open for you when you get to Skyhold. I also take companions around in ways that will get me as much approval from each of them as possible. The only thing I'll be doing differently here is that I won't engage any of the dragons to fight. Templars it is!
He's all done! All dragons are still alive and most everything else is done. Look at the read-me document I included in the zip folder for the details of what I did not complete due to avoidance of the dragons. Have fun killing the dragons!

If it's telling you that you need a new patch, check your mod patch ..mft and make sure it's version 14 as well. The mod patch folder is in the same folder as the patch folder. You might update both of them and then run your mod manager again, see if that helps.
I also just uploaded another HM warrior - www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/2301. If you don't have any luck with this one, maybe check that one out. Please let me know if you're unable to play either of them.
Every save I upload after this will be add-on free. I'm sorry that it took me so long to figure it out, it didn't really occur to me that those add-ons were making it so that people without couldn't use my saves. I've reinstalled the game without the add-ons and have just started an EM rogue. I have a list of requests going, but if there's something I've done already that you'd like to play, let me know and I'll add it to the list.
It won't have Flames of the Inquisition, Spoils of the Qunari, or Spoils of the Avaar on it, but I think it will still require the three DLCs, because I have schematics from those, which I can't make go away. So it's no deluxe edition add-ons, but still some dlc content. Just makin' sure we're on the same page, I'd hate for it to not work for you still.
edit: dlc's being JoH, Descent, and Trespasser. I do not think it will require the Black Emporium.
I have to say, I had more fun playing this guy than I thought I would. Once I kind of figured out my skills, I had a really good time. It was a whole new DA:I experience, which is awesome considering how much I've played this game. :D
