Hello, I've been eyeing your Anaan since I joined up here. Finally upgraded from my Xbox360 to a PC. Downloaded your save file the minute I got back home. Sadly, the game keeps asking me for a newer patch. https://ibb.co/g1oAET I've done the "Version 13" thing, took it up to 99 in my desperation. Turned off all the mods. Still no results. Any advice? Or should I just shoulder through the whole base game and Hakkon again?
The only thing I would have thought is that maybe the version be 14 instead of 13, but if that's not working, I'm not sure what to do. Do you have the deluxe edition stuff? I know that folks without it couldn't use these saves, but that doesn't seem to be the problem here. I've uninstalled all of my deluxe edition stuff, so I'll need to reinstall it to look at this save again. Give me a couple of days and I'll see if I can figure something out.
I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond this time, but I was unable to look into it for longer than I thought. I don't think I can fix this problem, it must be a bug in the file that I can't get rid of. I am working my way back through the genders/races/classes to make saves that don't have the deluxe addons. I hope that you'll keep an eye out, as I'll be making another QF mage soon and hopefully this won't be a problem again! I did just put up a HF mage, if you want to give it a try!
I have uploaded a new QF mage, if you 'd like to try playing her. If it asks for a newer patch, change your regular patch to 13, then run your mod manager and make sure the mod patch is 14. Hopefully, the new one will work where this one didn't!
Could I request a Female Human or Qunari allied with the templars, please? Any class really, though a warrior could make a change but a mage would be quite interesting...!
I have a HF rogue that I made two saves for - one allied with mages, the other allied with templars. She's probably a couple of weeks away, though, as I have three requests before I start her up. In the meantime, download the Caiah Allied Templars from that save. I'm working on a HM Rogue, then a HM Warrior and then and EM Rogue. After that, I was planning on starting up the QF rogue, but I also have been asked for a HF mage, so I can do either. I'm also interested in making more warriors - I have very little experience with them and am curious to play a few. Which one shall I put on the list for you? (I mean, I'll probably do all of them in the long run, but I make requested characters priorities over random characters I might make.)
Thanks - I'll download the HF rogue in the meantime (didn't realise there was a templar save as well)! A HF siding with the templars is always a good one to romance Cullen and I always find it really interesting to play a mage siding with the templars, e.g. like Vivienne. So that is probably a good one to start. When playing a warrior, I do have a soft spot for the Qunari (I like to experiment with choosing mostly agressive options and seeing where is gets me with the NPCs), so a QF anything would be good as well. (Qunaris make good bad-a** girls!) I tend to steer away from the HM warriors solely because they're a bit more sterotyped in fantasy stories. But honestly, I find the templar favouring more morally challenging, so anything really. :)
I actually have an adorable little elven warrior chick who I eventually want to finish, but someone asked me for the HM so I'll make it happen. I'll put the HF mage on the list to run through sometime soon. :)
edit: I will be sure to make a bad-a** qunari warrior female, it just might be a little while.
Just thought I'd let you know that I recently uploaded a QF warrior. I'm working my way through all the race/class/gender combinations, so there'll be both a HF and an EF warrior in the future! Hope you enjoy!
I did the version 14 thing, but it's stuck on a continual loading screen. All the other saves from you work fine save for this one, I do love your characters by the way!
You're the second person who has had that problem. I'm starting to wonder if the file is corrupted. I have uninstalled all of the deluxe content from my DAI so that the saves I make will be usable by folks who don't have all the add-ons. So I can't look at the file without reinstalling those. I'm working my way towards making saves of all classes/races without the deluxe content, but I'm not sure when I'll be getting to another Adaar mage, tho' I'll be working on an Adaar rogue soon. I will at some point look into this file to see what's going on with it, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to do it.

Sorry if this is a pain in the ass (or can't be done), but I was wondering if you could possibly upload a save of this without the deluxe edition content? Thank you for this regardless
I haven't figured out how to do that yet. I think the only way would be for me to uninstall the game, and then reinstall without those add-ons selected. I can give it a try, but I'm not sure if it will affect this save or if I'd have to start from scratch. I'll look into it later today. Can I ask that you test the file out when I do? That way I'll know if it works or not. If it doesn't work for this file, I'll have to start a character partially and see if it works then. I kinda do want to fix this, because I've had a few people who can't use my saves because of flames of the inquisition and spoils of the qunari.
I tried to see if there was a simpler way to uninstall DLC items, but they literally give no option to do so which is odd. Only way I can think of is if you uninstall it manually. Would be under the Update folder in the DAI Directory but I don't know which folder is the Flames one. If you want to try deleting that file first (if you're planning to do an uninstall to fix the issue anyway) here's my Update folder: http://prntscr.com/k48kh0 Would probably be whichever one you have that I don't have, besides the Patch_ModManagerMerge. I can do that. I have a HM rogue in an early stage, but his world state is different and I was gonna have him ally with the templars.. So I can make one with that world state no problem, but it might be a week or so before I have him. I'm working on another HM mage for someone else, and they usually take me about three to four days to finish. Do you have a preference for allying with mages or disbanding/allying with templars? I'm not sure I can ever conscript the mages, that just feels wrong to me.
