Firstly, what's ign? Secondly, I'll put a picture of it here from Frosty Editor... I think this is it ... (human male variant)
The model is called: hm_inquisitor_var3_core_03bw00_model_mesh ... hm in the filename means human male, and the w is for warrior, you can replace that with r or m for rogue or mage.
P.S. It could be var1 instead - which has a leather undershirt instead of the chainmail one on var3 (above) and also has a scarf.
Svarty, does this support robes such as the Enchanter robe (DAO), the one e.g., Commander Helaine uses? :-) This or maybe Config Armor II...? I cannot find any reference in the daimod that indicates this, but thought I would ask... I really like the older robes - probably far more so than the DAI ones...
There are two types of costume in the game: 1. NPC-only, which you can't wear without mods (can be put on the player using bundle edits). 2. player costumes that can be worn outside your base.
In your base, all your companions become NPCs, so changing their costumes becomes very difficult (I'm reluctant to say impossible).
If you see an NPC wearing the Enchanter Robe you like, it's very hard to get it onto the player - I believe mods do exist to do it. Padme4000 did a lot of these bundle mods and produced a tutorial that shows how. Try searching for "Robe".
My mods don't do any bundle editing, they ONLY swap appearances of player costume type.
Yes I know of this other mod, the problem is it's only for Frosty, so i've been trying to find another way to change it. Unfortunately it seems no other mod offers that option, and I'm not familiar with modifying files myself. Still, thank you for your quick reply
It's possible, I just didn't put it on the menu. It's not just a case of doing a simple thing, you have to build up a file containing each of the armour-files you want to potentially change - and you can't save it and come back later because the tools are ... temperamental. So you have to do it in a single session and it's a big job, so I... didn't do EVERY armour schematic, I think there are plenty of other ones to choose from, though.
I hope this doesn't sound like a list of excuses. I consider them reasons.
Hi I love this mod had been using it but i crafted a set of enhanced avvar armor and it doesnt work any more. does the mod not work on crafted pieces or does it have to be the base line equipment? previously i was using the avvar set the dlc gives you and it worked fine but after i crafted this set and it doesnt work anymore. I appreciate any help
edit never mind for whatever reason it started working again
I wondered if you might know why I'm not able to swap out one of the armors to take on the Prologue armor (mercenary armor) appearance?
I've attempted to swap Vestments of the Dragon Hunter and The Skin that Strikes with "Light Start" and "Medium Start". Neither will take on the desired appearance for some reason. I double checked the item ID for the armor I'm trying to switch to, and it looks like "medium_start" was the ID for the prologue armor, as well as "equip_armor_medium_1p_mercenary_elite" (which I don't see in your mod).
Any way to possibly get this working? Or is the prologue/mercenary armor unable to be swapped to altogether?
I tested both and they both seem fine to me. Could it be that another mod is conflicting with this one? Are there any errors or warnings in ModManager?
I'm going to add a routine to enable all the assets, so that it's more compatible with other mods, and copies of itself.
There weren't any errors in Mod Manager at all, didn't hit any hiccups or anything when merging. Here's my mod list: https://imgur.com/a/r0UrrEx
I don't think I have anything in here that would conflict with this one? The only thing I have that could possibly affect things might be the tinting/fabric mods, but I don't think that should cause issues with an armor replacer? I also could be wrong, I'm only now just getting back into modding this game after five years.
If you look in the Miscellaneous Files section, I've cobbled together a quick mod that should do what you want please let me know whether it works or not because I wasn't able to test it (I don't use Frosty). I've included the Project file, so you can see how easy it is to do.
Oh, and it MUST go after Tirnoney's TMM Armour Restrictions mods in the load order because they edit the same files (the ones in the mod don't have restrictions, so when it overwrites the two files in the TMM mod, you won't notice). There should be a warning about the conflict in Frosty Mod Manager - you can ignore it.

EDIT: Weird. If I search for "robe" I get nothing that looks correct. If I search for the username however, I do...
But I see we're entering Frosty ground if trying to use Padme's mods, so I think I'll have to give them a pass. ;-)
Maybe try this one? https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/2771
Are you trying to use it in Frosty or the old ModManager? If it's Frosty, then I'm not surprised it doesn't work and I can't fix it.
If you're using the old ModManager, can you show me what settings you're using, so I can try to replicate the bug on my side please?
ETA: Dumb ass read the comments.
Just a side-note: You can open daimods in Notepad++ and read the program there.
Here is the list, please bear in mind the names might not be what you think they are. That's partly on me.
