Any chance you could make a version of these without the eyebrows please? I like my brow colour to match my hair and don't want to have to chose hair colour to match my eyebrows. Beautiful makeup, thank you
Any chance you might make these into the .daimod format? I hate to ask or trouble you with this, it's just that the old method doesn't seem to work with v.50 of the MM and patch 7.
Alright, well I managed to do it for myself. Sadly, the Emporium doesn't like face textures and won't load if we have them installed. It's not a deal breaker. It just means that I have to keep two different merged patches, one with your awesome texture and one without, and swap 'em if I ever want to visit the BE.
You have to use the DAI Modding Tool alpha 127 and you also need to have backed up your /Update/Patch folder from update 6. If you have those two things, temporarily move the singleplayer_DLC folder from /Update/ (it will crash during the caching process otherwise) and then load up the DAI Modding Tool, wait while it scans assets, then open a mod (select the right file type, it defaults to daimod) and save the mod as a daimod. This should be for your personal use only, of course. Hope this helps you and the person who PM'd me, who I can't respond to sadly (nexus keeps telling me I don't have permission).
Another note: the Black Emporium does not like face textures. You won't be able to load the area with this installed. I keep a separate merged install without the face texture in case I want to visit the BE.
Followed instructions, went through comments here, and i still can't get mine to work. Nothing shows up in CC. Don't know what i'm doing wrong, but i'll still give it a shot another day. I've spent too many hours trying to mod this game tonight xD Mod looks nice regardless.
thank you i hated that inquisition was the only one that hairs and eyebrows werent seperated my character has white hair and black or red(you have the symbol so i think you understand ) eyebrows .and now i can have it thanks to you
I have a request. Would you be able to make a make-up free complexion that is completely flawless and young? You are probably busy so I understand if you cant
I'll have to look further of why it happens with this texture in special, since the other textures I did doesn't have this issue. Once I figure out the reason I will re-upload a improved version. Thank you for your input
I added a comparison shot with default textures so you can see the difference. The shadows without Adela's texture seem to go up the face as you'd expect, but not otherwise. Maybe some component in the new texture is missing? I have no idea about that stuff, honestly, but I am quite patient, so I don't mind waiting if you don't mind trying to figure out whats going on. ;P
Actually the answer is pretty simple: The default eyebrows are a separate texture applied on top of the face texture. My mod is a face texture where I painted eyebrows, so the light effect that goes over the face also applies to my texture. In my files I already made so the specular map (the responsible for light/shine) is fully black on the eyebrow's area which should result in no light/shine.
More than this I really can't do, unless I edit the actual eyebrow texture, but I won't do it because those files are used for all NPCs who doesn't have their own face texture. Just imagine meet a male npc with such eyebrows as mines? When we can actually mod the game in a more deep way I can add a overlay texture in order to eliminate all light (all main NPCs who have their own face texture have this layer exclusively for their eyebrows).
