When replaying DA:I, I found that what I really wanted was to play a female dwarven mage. I did find a mod that replaces the rogue skill trees with mage skills for the male dwarven rogue by Mx-T (Unlock and change Specializations (et alia)) (one of the last files, TC - DMR to Mage), but there was no replacer for female dwarves, so I made one. This replaces the female dwarf rogue inquisitor skill trees with the skill trees for mages, including specializations. The quests to unlock specializations didn't seem to play nice with the modified trees, so specializations are unlocked from the beginning.
Note that the game will still treat your "mage" as a rogue. This is mostly only an issue for dialogue options, but it also affects which attribute impacts the attack statistic. Instead of wearing +magic gear, you will want +dexterity gear.
As an optional download, I've included instructions scrounged up from various places on the internet, mashed together, and with my own notes added in if anyone wants a rough guide to replacing entire skill trees, since when I looked it wasn't comfortably in one place. For individual skills, I would recommend the far more polished guide by Blacktrack at Skill Swaps.
