About this mod

Removes class restrictions from all armours in the game with optional files for each DLC.

Permissions and credits
Armour - No Class Restrictions Remade

Please report any problems in the comments section.  The main file unlocks class restrictions on all the armours in the base game.  There are separate files below that for each of the DLCs and one file for compatibility with another mod that removes level restrictions.

LoveAlice's original mod sadly no longer works with the latest patches so I rebuilt it from scratch.  This mod removes all class restrictions from looted and crafted armours in the base game and DLCs.

Yes, you can use snoufleur skin, dales loden wool and silverite, but those are not available when you get to Haven without other mods and they're only tier 3.  This mod will allow you to craft class unrestricted armours with Tier 4 materials and any party member will be able to equip any armour you find in the game, except for some specific armours that I deliberately omitted e.g. the inquisitors starting mercenary coat (mostly to avoid conflicts with certain other mods)

This mod does not remove level restrictions from armours. If you want that, I recommend Munchyfly's Remove Level Restrictions Mod which you can get here.

Installation

Read this excellent guide at DAI Modder Central.

Troubleshooting

Please read these troubleshooting tips at DAI Modder Central before posting in the comments section if you have a problem.

Uninstallation

The only pitfall with uninstalling this mod is that you or your companions may be left wearing armour that the base game does not allow you to wear.  This could cause the game to crash when accessing the inventory menu.  I suggest the following fail-safe method, even if it's a bit laborious.

1.  Whilst at a base, Haven or Skyhold, go through the inventory of the inquisitor and every companion and unequip the primary armour leaving them in their PJs.
2.  Save and exit the game.
3.  Merge with Mod Manager without Armour - No Class Restrictions Remade or whichever part of the mod you wish to remove.
4.  Load your save, re-equip the armour on each companion and continue playing.
5.  You will need to do this for any other saves that were created whilst using this mod.

Conflicts

The optional Trespasser file conflicts with Trespasser Skyhold PJ Replacer and Schematics.
